There's been a lot of news since my last report (ya, I know it's been a while) so hang tough while I go through the major stuff.
- There were 3 newsletters released (don't ask me why... I wondered the exact same thing), #97-99. Nothing very interesting in them, a few pieces of my old fiction somehow made their way into them though.
- Tons of new battles and missions released: XvT-Free 151-156, BoP-TC 21, XW-TC 1-8, XW-FREE 5, TIE-FREE 235-237, BoP-FREE 28, XWA-DB 5, XWA-CAB 6, and XWA-FREE 106-112. Try out any of these puppies and enjoy!
- XvT-WoW ended yesterday, with the EH finally coming out to play. We managed a 5th place finish with 9 pilots playing. Nice work to all who participated.
- XWA-WoW started yesterday. Luckily for the EH, our COO had no clue. I flew (and won) a match... then went to report it and discovered that the EH wasn't signed up. Oh well, Sith Apprentices'll like my activity there. But the good news is that Dax Corrin (a RSVist) got us signed up and we're now good to go. So go out and fly if you have a valid BSC account!

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Hornet members should participate in as many of these as possible.

- XWA WoW: Play on MSN Zone's XWA Rooms and report on www.battlestats.com. Read the rules that are posted on the info site for the War before playing to make sure you are *LEGAL* to play. If you need help, email me. Deadline: Nov. 1st
- #ehcoc MP Events: Play in #EHCOC on IRC and enjoy your time! Deadline: None
- EH XWA Racing League: Something new for us here! Go race in #EHCOC against other pilots! Read the rules here before competing though: http://www.ehracingleague.minos.net/ Deadline: None
- Vanguard FCHG Race: Pilot with the highest fchg gain during the month wins a IS-SW and the second highest wins a IS-BW. Deadline: 11/1/2003
- Vanguard Recruitment Competition: The pilot who recruits the most Cadets off the Daedalus or Reservists from the Reserves to join the Vanguard in a month wins an IS-SR. Deadline: 11/1/2003
- Vanguard Joust: Pilot with the highest points (based on this system: 1 point for every MP comp flown in; 3 points per loss; 5 points per win; 10 per DFC won) at the end of the month wins IS-SW, IS-BW to runner-up. Deadline: 11/1/2003

Pilot of the Week(s) None. No one did anything more than email or MB contact, sorry guys, but you need more than that toget the PotW spot.
It's been nice hearing from all the pilots in the squadron lately, I'd like to see a trend develop here. Try and get out and fly in the XWA WoW if you're eligible and try to fly in #EHCOC, the bot has been fixed now!
