From the Commander's Office
Everyone please welcome Commander Marcus Cain to the squadron and Wing! He's our new Flight Leader for Three Flight, so that's all good. The website has been updated to reflect this change.
Be on the lookout for easter eggs!
Alrighty, we have tons of comps going on. First is the FCHG Train, which is basically a bonus IS-BW for the biggest FCHG gainer each month. Then we have Back to School comp. We're lacking IWATS completions I see, so the person who completes the most each month snags an IS-BR. And don't forget that the Recruiting Comp is still going on. Each pilot you bring into the squadron gets you an IS-BR, plus assorted Wing/Ship stuff.
Check out the Squadron Website for updated news, and stupid little things here and there that are somewhat funny and hilarious. Do it. Now. Yeah, just click the link. Shut up and do it.

Wing XIII has won TIE Corps Commander's (TCCOM) Own for November 2003. This is a huge award; we're also the first Wing to recieve it since its' re-instation. Give yourselves a pat on the back!

In addition to Commander Caine, Sub-Lieutenant Dverol has joined Phoenix Squadron fresh off the Platform Daedalus. Welcome aboard!
Top Gun is going on. Do it if you must.
Check out Sarin's reports for details on the Grey Wolf Monthly Iron Star comps. Iron Stars are being given out for Recruiting, Fiction, Graphics, etc. Something for everyone!

In a bloody brilliant move, Grand Admiral Ronin and/or Sector Admiral Astatine have sacked the Combat Operations Officer (COO), Admiral Kyle Katarn. Applications are open, and lest we thank that we'll get someone better.
On a sadder note, the Security Officer (SO), Admiral Zoltar was also sacked for inactivity. Applications are up for that, so yeah. Don't bother though; there are already some favorites.
Two people got TCC spots. I think DT Hammer got TCC:TIE (he's a Wing Commander somewhere), and some guy (who I've never even HEARD of) named Chris Cox got TCC:XvT. In relation to that, check out the Mission Creation messageboard, where you can see Fleet Admiral Marcin lose his patience.
A bunch of patches for all TIE Corps game platforms have been released (version 2.0) by the Science Officer (SCO). Try them out today!
Numerous CMDR spots open. They all suck though.

Just a reminder that multi-player comps are held 24/7 in #ehcoc on the Undernet. I'm sure you all know about that. Sure the Combat Operations Office has gone to hell, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a lovely match of of XvT or XWA!

Final (Whacked) Thoughts
I'm currently working on a battle for the Balance of Power (BoP) compendium. The title is "Tales of the GWSOoM: The History of Z-95 Trainer." It should be smashing good fun, as it pokes fun at various aspects of the TIE Corps/Emperor's Hammer. Oh, and GWSOoM 1: "Call to Chaos" should be released sooner or later, while GWSOoM 2 is in the works!
Remember people, as I have mentioned before: This is a multi-player ship and battlegroup. While flying multi-player is not mandatory (and I certainly won't make you do it), that is what we're here for. Plus, it's far more fun than single-player, especially when we have 2v2s and 3v3s. Trust me, it's a blast.
Squadron Citations Corner
Crusader Squadron currently has a whopping 17 citations. This slight increase is due to Commander Caine joining up, which is cool. More citations to come no doubt.
