Sorry with this late submission of the WSR everyone. I minor RL emergency beckoned me away from NY to my college alma mater in Philly and so I was away from my computer. No biggie, but I just didn’t get a chance to write the report in time.
The top news is our inconclusive defeat in the Beer Cup. Here are the unofficial results (courtesy of CMDR’s Zoron’s WSR):

Pilots, look forward to another very similar competition in the coming weeks. There has been plenty of good feedback on this style of competition. After some minor tweaking of the rules and regulations, we should see another comp like this real soon. We did our best and we had a good showing, grats to the Socv boys. In other comp news, Wing XV finished first in the EH in the Nov XvT WoW thanks to Hornet, good work. Finally on a sad note (sarcasm) LTs Silvia and Allen Sievers will be AWOLed this week. You had your chances guys, but you left me with no choice.

Our very own Vanguard Commorodre, Sickman, has issued a few nonflying comps for the Holiday season! I say BAH-HUMBUG to these comps. HAHA, I’m only kidding. Looks like you get a medal for just submitting something! GET TO IT! Also, check Nighty’s email for a few other comps that he issued. They sound like fun.

SickMans Silly Xmas Comps

Yes from now until December 25th, i'm going to go doo-lally with comps, they maybe silly, they may be strange, they may even be normal, but i'm going to be giving out comps here & there upto that present and pie day (XMAS!!!!!!!!)

COMP#1 Sicky needs new Ship, yep the old booze-hound has been VANCOM over a year now and wants a new ship and a new name for her, so get thinking and sent your idea's to the drunk, IS-BR to the winner!

COMP#2 Ye Christmas Tale, write a sicky a yule tide Christmas tale, about anything, life on the VAN, that Star Wars story you've been itching to write.......anything, IS-SR to the best, IS-BR to the runner-up

COMP#3 Sicky needs a office for the VAN Website, you graphics dudes get to work, think of what Sickys office would look like and make a drawing/graphic that will be displayed on the website, IS-SR to the winner

COMP#4 More Graphics!!!!! Banners, buttons, little flashy thingys, pictures,anything and everything is needed for the website, i want this website to have a bit of something from everyone, you got a cool drawings graphic? send it to Sicky, it WILL be displayed on the website:)

-==FINAL NOTES==-

With the likely AWOL of Silvia and Sievers coming Wasp will be down to 3 pilots overall. Obviously this is not very good. I’ve have made a couple of attempts at recruiting some pilots on the Zone and on the XWINGALLIANCE messageboards with no success. I urge those that are left to make any possible attempt to recruit pilots. Being that I am not even a TC veteran myself, it is impossible for me to recruit possible pilots from the RSVs because I just didn’t serve with them. We need to learn to use other means. For example, maybe Teemer knows a RL friend who likes space-sim games and would like to join, etc.

A slow week overall, and with the holiday season here I don’t really expect an activity surge, but as always do what you can. I will try and do the same. Have a nice week.
