Since I couldn't tell you the first thing about squadron activity this past week, nor battlegroup news or anything that good ole Drake used to use as filler, I won't bother putting it all in this report, save me and you both some valueable trick or treat time :-D

Alrighty then... first off, I would like to get a good idea of where the squad stands, so if all of yee pilots could send me an email at thorin@ehnet.org with some basic info about yourselves, it would be highly appreciated (in fact, it's required! :p). Just the games you play, SP or MP, how often, non flying skillz (html, graphics, etc), things like that. Also, if you held any facny positions in the squad under Drake, let me know that too. Just all of the basic info really.
To Really Get A Grasp on things, our first competition is coming up...tomorrow, Nov 1st (assuming it gets approved) - Mantis FCHG Race #1. Rules are simple, I'm writing down the squads FCHG points at midnight tonight (EST), and you have until Thursday (Nov 6th) to rack up as many FCHG points as you can. All activity goes towards your Medal submission Env..I means MSEs. Winner gets a nice shiny IS-BW for thier collection.
Additionally (breathe), an interim Squadron Website is up at mantis.squadron.org, I just used my nifty Tie Corps Site Generator from my IO days. It may get changed, may not, depends on the squad :)
Alright then, that about covers it, I think. My door is always open for ideas, critisizm, moaning, etc. I hope you'll all stay with me as we once again make Mantis a worthy squad in the Fleet!
