Hey all. Quieter week this week, but not without it's little moments. First of all, I thank Gidda and Frodo for seeing fit to promote me to Major. Especially being that it was done the DAY I was eligible...so thank you guys, I wont let you down :) Anyway....with that a$$ kissing done(:P), time to get down to it. The Squad has had a 'week off' this week, with a number of us getting settled back into school and things like that, Sav flying through XWA Single Player and myself toiling away at updating the Squadron Website. I also know how hungover some of you are, after seeing you at my promotion party on Sunday night! I hope you've all recovered for next week, as we have a few wing level comps to sink our teeth into and more on the horizon!!

General News;

 - New ASF Website --- http://asf.minos.net/.

 - New Flight Office site --- http://flightoffice.minos.net/.

 - The 2003 Golden Tug Awards have passed nominations, and you can now vote on the chosen few in each category. To vote, go to the Mission Creation messageboard and vote through the forum topics.

 - The TCCOM's banner competition is still running, and does not finish until the 27th of this month. More details at http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=1066 - lets see some entries!

 - The COMM is still after a COMM:A, if you feel you could be of assistance, send AbK an application!

 - The IWCOM has now resigned, so the Infiltrator Wing is currently lost, dazed and confused...as usual, but now without a leader :D

 - A couple of new TIE battles come out last week, consisting of TIE-TC's 213, 214 and 215, and TIE-Free 238. Check them out on the EH Mission Compendium.

 - The Science Office has now released Ship patches for both TIE 95 and BoP. They add numerous bases and facilities and can be found on the SCO's Patch Archive at http://www.minos.net/~sco/files/games/index320.html.

 - There are also a couple of current HTML/Website competitions to take part in. Both the XO and the ISD Vanguard are having competitions to find themselves a new website. More details on the TC news page.

 - After all FOA apps were taken in the last week or so, the new FOA was chosen early this week. Congrats to LC Styles on his appointment to Flight Office Assistant!

 - One last piece of news thats just come to light, is that according to Slashdot, LucasFilm will be releasing the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD in approximately September next year. Yay! About time eh? :)

 - RECRUIT.....RECRUIT.....RECRUIT!!!!

 - Krayt Squadron Website -- http://krayt.squadron.org/ - Has been updated. Although I'm still having problems with 4patas's and Cutter's javascript Uniform popups. It should all be sorted by tomorrow arvo though :)

 - Promotion in the squad! Yes....I got promoted to Major, yay me! :P

 - LCM Arid has just released his latest Citations Report - see below in the 'Squadron Citations' section of this report what your assignments for this week are!

 - We, as a squadron on the Int are part of this new Intrepid/Van v Sovereign Competition. So I would like to see as many of you as possible, complete as many of the battles as possible for the competition. The comp does not finish until the end of the month, so you have plenty of time to fly the battles and possibly refly for higher scores. The battles for the comp are TIE TC 211, XWA TC 24 and XvT TC 75. I hope to see the majority of the squadron fly to ensure the Intrepid's no loss record vs the Sov remains intact!!

 - On the topic of competitions, Sav, Arid and I will be meeting on Saturday Night(US-EST) to fly XvT-Free 73 for the Intrepid Realistic Combat Competition. Wish us luck guys, we'll need to be flying at the top of our skills to beat the other squadrons!

 - Oh and by the way, I sent in my MSE last Sunday, so we should be receiving our medals for October within the week! :)
