Good morning all. It's been a wonderful week in the corps! We've seen the release of a new homepage for the ISD Vanguard--check it out. Many competitions are being run. Many peeps are competing. And of special note, it looks like the Sov is gonna get her butt kicked! Remember to come visit me on IRC in #isdvanguard or #ehcoc--I'm on quite a bit.
My XWA skills are being proven and I'm getting better--watch out peeps! Soon I'll be kickin' it up to medium difficulty. :P
Be reminded that the "Beer Cup" is almost finished. The deadline for your pilot file submissions is November 30th. Participations earns many smiley faces from your CMDR, WC, and COMM. You can find details for this competition below under "Current Comps." The battles involved are TIE TC 211, XvT TC 75, and XWA TC 24.
Rant: SL's remain inactive--doesn't look good in so many ways. Look here for details and let's talk about it. What's worse than this is when I see a FL inactive. Before I start AWOLing peeps, and I will, I'd like to provide you with a bit of motivation in the form of Pilot of the Month recognition. This will be more than simple recognition as it will always lead to shiny pieces of html with which to adorn yourselves. More on this when I've worked out a proper scale by which to measure your greatness. :P
I'm wondering, and anybody who knows please respond, who made the squadron banner that is on the roster page... I would like to have a discussion with that person about a banner for another squadron project.
On to business...
Squadron Status
- Be reminded that a squadron email group exists... Thanks for letting me know guys--had to here it from a previous Echo CMDR who is now moved on to a WC spot. Much thanks to LC Daniel Goad for that and some other things. You may communicate with the squadron easily and simply by sending mail to echo-squadron@yahoogroups.com.
- The Squadron homepage is still in the works and will be announced (Dec or Jan) when it resembles something like a web site. Please send me your ideas, graphics, script, etc., whatever may help in the building of your squadron homepage. So far I've had much help from LC Daniel Goad. All submissions are considered as activity and may be rewarded as such based on their merit.
- It's raining here.
- Echo Squadron stands currently at 8 pilots.
- We hold 8 citations--an increase of 3 since I've come to Echo.

Note: "inactive" is a pretty harsh word, especially in light of the many RL commitments that we all have. Please don't be offended by it. It is simple one week passing where my inbox remains empty. Don't let the word discourage you--it doesn't discourage me.

Miscellaneous Information:- Sov vs. Vanguard and Intrepid in TIE, XvT and XWA single-player battles.
- Top 30 pilot files on each side count toward the results in each division. Overall score of these top 30 scores per division determines the winner(s). Note: XvT division is Top 15 files.

- Beat your WC in armed combat. The winningmost pilot competing against our beloved WC will win honor and prestige above all other pilots in the wing--and they will prolly win a medal too.
- WoW's are going on at the zone two weeks out of every month. They are a blast when the EH participates so consider that as an avenue for activity. Contact me for more details.
