Phantom Squadron Report Captain Aeolus reporting in for Phantom Squadron on Nov. 16th, 2003, Hello everyone, a slow week, but that's because it's developed that way. Our Commodore is back from leave so competitions and superior medal opportunities await everyone. But you aren't completely without work that could be done! I have a couple friends of mine on the Sovereign looking for the old Christmas decorations from last year. Get ready for a seven foot optical tree! Even if you don't like, or care for Christmas trees a seven foot optical one is freaking cool. Trees aside, lets get on with the report...
In Fleet News:
- Imperial Storm IV is over. For those who didn't know, the Sov. won, like usual. The War Officer is working on Imperial Storm V if you want to help on this email him at Palinathas@aol.com
- A couple new TIE-FREE missions were released by the tactical office this week. These are TIE-FREE #239 and #240.
- Quiet week in the fleet.
In Wing News and Activities:
- Locke returned from leave.
- Breaking news: Idling in #ISD_Immortal hits a 10 week high thanks to inane comments by famed idler Wolfwood.
- Slow week in the wing, I think it has to do with all the egg nog people have been drinking.
In Squadron News and Activities:
- The Phantom mottos competition came to and end yesterday. I'm reviewing the submitted mottos. Thanks to everyone who submitted.
- New competition out! It's the Phantom Colors competition! It's more or less a prequel to the Phantom Banner competition I intend to produce in early December. So basically email me a color combination you think would be good to represent the squadron. Go Team!
- The squadron webpage is finding its way online. A historic archive for people to awe and gawk at. Myself included. No estimated date of completion at this point but be prepared, it is coming soon to a url near you!
- Squadron citations are still rising. Great work Tygra!
- On another squadron type note, if none of you yet noticed I am writing a story for the Immortal. You all have the wonderful chance to be part of this because, I'm writing it and, you all rule.
