- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Hornet members should participate in as many of these as possible.

Fleet-wide Competitions: 

• #ehcoc MP Events: Play in #EHCOC on IRC and enjoy your time! Deadline: None
• EH XWA Racing League: Something new for us here! Go race in #EHCOC against other pilots! Read the rules here before competing though: http://www.ehracingleague.minos.net/ Deadline: None

• BGCOM's XvT/XWA WoW Incentive Comp: AD Darksaber awards IS-GW/IS-SW/IS-BW to the top 3 ASF winners in each WoW. Avenger's LC Az has a stranglehold on the top spot most months, who will step up to challenge him next? Deadline: None
• ASF-Wide Comps Participation Comp: This is to reward those who participate and try as hard as they can but don't make it to the top all the time. Basically you will have to try to compete in as many comps this month as possible. Those who compete the most will get rewards (IS-GR/IS-SR/IS-BR for 1,2,3 respectively) Deadline: 9/30/2003
• ASF Trivia #13: You know the drill: 50 questions are sent out, you answer them (or try to) and submit those answers back to Darksaber. If you need the questions, ask me. Deadline: 9/28/2003 (Will be extended due to error with Comp Approval Forms)
• ASF Mascot: The Goal is to create a Mascot for ASF. The Winning Submission will become the ASF Official Submission. Submissions must include a name and description but can also include a Graphic/Picture and a fiction. Deadline: 10/5/2003
   

• Vanguard FCHG Race: Pilot with the highest fchg gain during the month wins a IS-SW and the second highest wins a IS-BW. Deadline: 10/1/2003
• Vanguard Recruitment Competition: The pilot who recruits the most Cadets off the Daedalus or Reservists from the Reserves to join the Vanguard in a month wins an IS-SR. Deadline: 10/1/2003
• Vanguard Joust: Pilot with the highest points (based on this system: 1 point for every MP comp flown in; 3 points per loss; 5 points per win; 10 per DFC won) at the end of the month wins IS-SW, IS-BW to runner-up. Deadline: 10/1/2003

Hornet Competitions: 

• New Flight Names: If you can design new flight names, that the majority of the squadron likes, you will win a Iron Star Bronze Ribbon. Deadline: None http://emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=735
