-SQUADRON NEWS -

Congratulations to CPT Tvan'Oris. He has become one of only 5 pilots in the TIE Corps to hold the FCHG Rank of Imperator. 3000 FCHG points is quite an accomplishment. Way to go Tvan! Woo-Hoo! Hurrah!

In order to keep the Flight Office and AD Darksaber happy, and because it needed to be done, I have had our roster page updated. Flight III's website was still listed as: http://strony.wp.pl/wp/diamondback/. Since it is my understanding that it has been a bad link for quite some time and that there is no other site to replace it, I have had it deleted from the listing. And I have had our message board link updated to reflect the newer message board domain. It is now shown as: http://theholo.net/mb/viewforum.php?f=57.

I have so far received 0 entries for our squadron's new flying competition. I am hoping that is simply because you are all taking advantage of the fact that you have until the end of the month, and are trying really hard for high scores. I assume that is also the reason why Derek, Tvan, and myself are the only ones who've submitted any entries for the Beer Cup Competition so far. I look forward to seeing some impressive scores rolling in from the rest of you.

CPT Drako was finally awarded his 4 LOCs and 1 DFC this week from his bit of MP flying last week. That is because our former squadmate, former CMDR, and now Avenger Squadron CMDR, LC Azazel is the new COOA, and has cleared up the backlog of pending stuff at the Combat Operations Office. This has doubled Drako's CR points and elevated him to the Rank of Marksman 3rd. Keep up the good work Drako. I know our COM and WC really appreciate MP activity.

End Of Imperial Storm IV

With the escape of the Sovereign to Aurora, Imperial Storm IV has come to an end. While the Sovereign enjoys it's Minor Victory, the War Officer is already hard at work on Imperial Storm V. Suggestions are being taken via email. Thank you to all who participated in ISIV, and in advance to all who offer suggestions for ISV.

CA:TAC resigns, replacement sought

Today. I bring you sad news. My CA:TAC, Vice Admiral Philo, has decided to resign his position and transfer to reserves due to extreme time restrictions. I think no comment is needed here.

Here was great CA:TAC and my right hand for all this months. I really considered him as new TAC, and I knew he would do great. But unfortunately, life comes first. For all of us.

I would really like to thank you Philo for all your hard work and support you gave me. You are the model CA:TAC and you can be sure, that it will be damn hard to replace you. Thanks!

Right now. I have to do two things. I make Philo, honorary TACA. I know this is reserves for stepping down TAC's, but I am changing it. And I am looking for replacement. I won't lie, there are no real requirements and if any TCC would like to get it, he gets it. So, mail me and try!

XvT shippatch released!

Today saw the release of the "Emperor's Hammer Ship Patch" for XvT. This patch adds the B-Wing, TIE Defender, Missileboat, System Patrol Craft, Scout Craft, Container Transport, Medium Transport, Modified Corvette, Modified Frigate, Passenger Liner, Carrack Cruiser, Light Calamari Cruiser, Communications Relay, Sensor Array, Astromech, Probe Capsule, Gunplatform, Large Gunplatform, Laser Battery and Pilot to XvT. It also changes ranks and awards to a EH theme.
The patch can be installed together with other patches and kept installed permanently as it does not replace any existing Craft. It does however replace the B-W, T/D and MIS patches. (As does its BoP counterpart)
This concludes the series of EH Ship Patches, which means that all craft of TIE are now available for XvT and BoP while all craft from BoP are now available for TIE95. :)

- CURRENT ORDERS -

- Fly XvT-TC-75 for the Beer Cup Competition. I think it would be best if the best XvT Squadron in the fleet helped it's COM win a competition with the Sov. It wouldn't hurt to do your best at XWA-TC-24, and TIE-TC-211 for this comp, as well. We have until the end of the month for this one.

- Participate in the "Diamondback Squadron Training Mission - November 2003" competition, by flying XWA-TC-12 "Imperium Deception" by the end of the month. It's just one battle and you all have 2 whole weeks left to fly it. I would like to see 100 % participation on this and the Beer Cup (at least XvT).

- Complete your assigned battles for citations.
