Phantom Squadron Report

Hey Phantom. Okay so it turns out that for some reason when you install the new "Super Elf Bowling" (you know it wouldn't be the christmas season without one) requires you restart your computer. Sadly that meant bye bye to the report I was writing last night. Was too tired and lazy to rewrite it so I waited till morning which is now. So hello. We're deep into ECR V activities and just came out of a couple attribute competitons and things are rollin around on ice so get ready for a kickin good report...

In Fleet News:

• The Tactical Office released some new missions last night. TIE-FREE #241-243 as well as TIE-TC #216 and 217 as well as XvT-TC #79-81. The TAC says to have fun, so, go have fun!
   
• The former CA:SO Ziggy has been appointed the new Security Officer. Congrats to him on this accomplishment. I've known Ziggy for many years and he's a good officer. Many congratulations to him.
   
• Admiral Proton of the Sovereign is looking for a replacement for Wing IV Wing Commander, being in Phantom sounds more fun to me but if you think you have what it takes head over to the TIE Corps and check out the news postings for requirements and more information.
   
• There have been some updates to the EH Census and they are still trying to collect information. Head over to Logistics Office for more information.
   
• Two new TCCs were appointed this past week. Those guys in charge of getting the fleet working quality missions. Congrats to MAJ D.T. Hammer and CM Chris Cox.

In Wing News and Activities:

• The XWA Mission for ECR V in round 1 had some bugs, I'm sure you all got the several emails that were sent out reguarding this. XWA round 1 has been pressed back to the end of round 2 because of this. Hopefully after the end of round 2 things get back to normal.
   
• The Wing heads into week three of ECR next week. I have no idea how any individual ships are doing because this comp doesn't seem to keep a running score. I guess we have to wait until it's all over to see who wins. In the meantime keep up the flying, and send in those graphics and fictions if you got time. Only two weeks left!
   
• As always the "of the month" competitions are going on. I still have no idea who got November Squadron of the Month. I know I was November Pilot of the Month but we all await the announcement. Phantom was Squadron of the Month for October, as well as several months prior I believe.

In Squadron News and Activities:

• CT Rieanna Stormchaser has joined Phantom from Daedalus and has already gotten herself a promotion to LT by filling out her INPR. She has been placed in Flight 3 with Nuno and Gunman. Veteran pilots who I'm sure can tell her everything she'd ever want to know about piloting a TIE Phantom.
   
• The entire squadron seems busy with real life holiday activities, among other things. However the squad has done a great job of stepping up activity for the holiday season despite all else. I want to congratulate everyone on a job well done.
   
• I want the squad to know that I have finals coming up so I'll be really, really, really busy till December 10th rolls around. I just wanted to let you all know. I'll be available for contact via email but other than that I'm going to try and focus on the fundamentals of accounting and the world of macroeconomics. Thanks everyone.
   
• The Phantom Colors competition ends, winners were COL Gunman and LCM Tygra Shadowclaw. This is because they both submitted the same color combination basically and I liked it. So from henceforth Phantom's colors will be black, navy blue and dark gray. At least as long as I'm Commander. Great work, you have both already been awarded your IS-BRs for your work.

Citation News:

We've dropped to 43 with the arrival of Rieanna Stormchaser. This okay however and still a great number for such a large squad. As Tygra has stepped down due to real life obligations from XO there will be no XO report this week and work on citations will resume after the start of next year.
