Diamondback Squadron Weekly Report #92.

- INTRODUCTION -

Welcome to this week's Diamondback Squadron Weekly Report. Enjoy!
-SQUADRON NEWS -

Due to our squadron's performance in the Beer Cup 2003 competition, Diamondback has been named Wing Commander's Own for the month of December. It was a close call, but we edged out Krayt to get the win with Drako's last minute entry before he left us.

I am still searching for a Flight Leader for Flight III. I have put out the call on the recruitment board, but have received no applications yet. I would still like to have one of you volunteer for the job if you would like to help me out with this.

- WING XIV/ISD INTREPID NEWS -

As mentioned earlier, the Beer Cup results are in. There was no really clear-cut winner. The "ISD Intrepid and ISD Vanguard" team out-participated The Sovereign by quite a bit, but The Sov outscored us just as clearly, so both sides have decided they can declare a moral victory and a well fought comp all around. The most important thing is that fun was had by all. Also, our Wing Commander, Colonel Gidda had the overall top score for both XVT and XWA, and had the second-highest overall for TIE, but since he had the highest score from our team in all three platforms that means he should be receiving 3 IS-GWs for this comp. Drako got third from our team in XvT, and Derek was second from our team in TIE.

EH Census: Update
23:14 - AD Darknyte [darknyte@alltel.net]

So far I'd like to state that the Logistics Staff has been very pleased with the response we've gotten thusfar from the EH Census project.

With that in mind I'd like to remind everyone that new questions are still being added periodically and that we'd greatly appreciate it if participants could make an effort to try to login at least once per week until the Census has been completed.

This will allow all members to answer questions that have been added since they initially took the Census. Already I know we've added around 10-15 questions in various areas, and more are still coming as support for the Census grows and more officers request questions added.

If anyone knows a question that should be added, please email the Logistics Officer with your questions so we can evaluate and add them as needed.

Again, thank you all for making this project a success!

EH Census
21:22 - AD Darknyte [darknyte@alltel.net]

The EH Census is finally ready for the Fleet to take part in. If you've kept up with my reports you know that I feel this will be a great tool for those of us in leadership roles in the EH to more accurately gauge what the membership would like to get out of their experience in the club.

All members of the EH are encouraged to participate and asked to please answer all questions with honesty. There are a few regarding thoughts on senior officers, and we assure you that your private information will never be made public, so you may answer without fear of reproach.

The Census can be found at http://cosmic.nailed.org/census.

Thanks in advance for your participation and desire to help us make the EH a better place for everyone.
