Well!!! Big week for lots of us this week, not only in the Sqd and wing, but BG and Fleet-wide :) First of all though, I'd like to welcome our newest member, SL crush and also our newest 'pending assignment' member, CT Predator. *Psst* He's the guy I keep mentioning ;) Welcome (and pre-welcome) to both of you, I'm sure you've had a good turkey day and I'm sure you'll enjoy being in Krayt as much as you probably did eating and drinking your hearts out yesterday ;) Other than that, this week we've rounded out our October MSE's with Sav's coming through, won another wing competition (YEAH BAYBE - GO KRAYT!) and have had a good time of it in comp participation for the Beer Cup and the 'Serve and Protect' Sqd Comp. I also redesigned and implemented the Krayt site, and although not going completely to plan or smoothly, I am getting there!!

 - The absolute biggest news this week has been the simultaneous sacking of the Combat Operations Officer(COO) and Security Officer(SO). Both positions are up for applications, I'm assuming pre-req's and the like will be posted on the TC news page in the very near future, but for now we all remain surprised, and maybe some of us, pleased.

 - The TCCOM's banner competition is over. Congrats to Kane Reese, Zeth Durron and Meanman for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

 - On the same note, FA Cyric has chosen his first TCCOM's Own Wing, congrats to Wing XIII, the Grey Nutters! :D

 - The COMM is still after a COMM:A, if you feel you could be of assistance, send AbK an application!

 - Dont forget about the TIE/XvT/BoP Ship Patch's - Version 2 for each has just been released. They can be found on the Science Offices' Patch Archive located at http://www.minos.net/~sco/files/games/index320.html.

 - There are also a couple of current HTML/Website competitions to take part in. Both the XO and the ISD Vanguard are having competitions to find themselves a new website. More details on the TC news page.

 - TAC Office now has some vacancies for TCC's , apply if you can understand Mike's engrish :P

 - A belated, long awaited and much deserved congratulations goes out to ATF BGCOM Admiral Ranthier Khaen on his promotion to full Admiral!! Ph33r teh aussies ;) Don't forget to enjoy the free beer and 'party favours' Khaen!

 - The 'Beer Cup' competition is still going, although it finishes THIS Sunday, 30th November. So dont forget to fly TIE-TC 211, XvT-TC 75 and/or XWA-TC 24. Fly what you can (preference to XvT-TC 75) so the Intrepid and Vanguard can pwn the SSSD Sovereign.

 - XvT WoW LXV started this week, finishing today (Friday) at 2pm. EH has had a decent showing, although I'd like to see at least one more from Krayt participating :)

 - Krayt Squadron at 10 active members, with one more on the way!!!! YAY!

 - Check out the BRAND SPANKIN NEW Krayt Squadron Website v2.0 at http://krayt.squadron.org/. Hope you all like it, atm it's made for 1024x768 as the iframe(scrolly bit in the middle) wont line up properly in other resolutions....but I'm hoping to have it fixed by next week some time. Let me know what you think!!

 - LCM Arid has just released his latest Citations Report - see below in the 'Squadron Citations' section of this report what your assignments for this week are!

 - Also a quick little congrats to Arid for breaking the 500pt FCHG barrier! It's a shame there is no more 'career medals', but a big congrats and a celebratory beer tab at the Wing cantina should be all the congratulations you need ;)

 - Sav FINALLY got his 5th Bronze Star of the Empire....ohh...he's catching me! :P Congrats on a great and very active month Azza!

 - As above I'd like to welcome our newest Sub-Lieutenant, SL crush! Congrats on finishing training crush, I'm sure you'll enjoy your time in the Squadron, if you need or want anything let me know either thru IRC (nick: CrimFury) or by email at Crim5on@hotmail.com. On this note, I'd also like to throw a quick shout out to CT Predator, currently on the Daedalus who will be joining us as soon as Cyric assigns him to Krayt *hint, hint* Cyric ;)

 - Beer Cup is on it's last legs this week...finishes this Sunday 30th November at midnight EST. So far Krayt has submitted about 10 files, but I'd like to see closer to 15 submitted before the end of the comp. Do your best to fly what you can, be it TIE-TC 211, XvT-TC 75(preferably) or XWA-TC 24...remember, if we want to hold WC's Own for a 6th month, we need to finish the comp the highest submitting Squadron for the Beer Cup!!

 - Well well well.....after all the rigmarole it took to finally get a group to fly in the Intrepid Realistic Combat, we won!!! Yay, congrats to Cutter, Arid and I on our winning combat skirmish. Gidda told me our IS-SW's are in the post. Now I haven't even attempted a little battle story yet, but I will detail the stats for you below;

               Total Score: 143,518pts.

               * LCM Arid Foxtrot: 5 kills (+4 partials) / 0 deaths.

               * MAJ CrimsonFury: 15 kills (+10 partials) / 3 deaths. - Damn Y-wing collisions :P

               * LCM Cutter: 5 kills (+5 partials) / 1 death.

 - One final note is in regards to the 'Serve and Protect' Squadron Comp. Currently I have 3 submissions, from LT 4patas, Arid and myself. I would like to see a few more sent through before competition's end on Monday night midnight US-EST. Current scores have Arid leading on a score of 30,380pts, 4patas close behind on 26k and myself bringing up the field with my meagre test score of 19k or so. Still got 4 days left though guys, so lets see some submissions!
