Hey everyone, welcome to my 30th Report as Krayt Squadron CMDR! And what a great week it has been for the squadron!!! Medal's have rained down on us from various sources, although the majority have been from the November MSE. There are still a few competition medals pending, so we'll have to keep an eye out next week too ;) First of all, I'd like to again, welcome all our new members from the last few weeks and hope they are enjoying and will continue to enjoy their time here. I'd also like to open the bar especially for Commander Arid Foxtrot to celebrate his promotion. It's been about a month or so in the making, but it was great to see it come through and you finally get it! I also wish you all a great Christmas break, although due to me going away (yes, again...) on Boxing Day and returning New Years Eve, the next WSR will probably come out on Wednesday or Thursday next week :) Christmas present for you all!! :D

General News;

 - It seems the COO position has been filled, with the announcement of VA Sarin as COO. Apparently this is yet to be accepted by Sarin, partly at least because earlier this week he was shipping back from Iraq to the US. Congrats to Sarin on a successful and safe tour, and his promo to COO, if he accepts it :)
 - The EH Census is still up, go to http://cosmic.nailed.org/census/ and vote and answer the questions!
 - The IO is currently running a SquadFirst+ bug search, so if any of you have used it or tried to and have come up with errors, pass them on to the IO staff and they will try and fix all the probs in their latest release.
 - Well, after the drama with the messageboards this week and the disappearance of COMM AbsoluteK, Ast how now opened up the position of COMM for applications. Details on the TC news page for anyone interested/curious.
 - Late last weekend, ISD Challenge COM RA Sephiroth resigned due to RL issues. Phantom must have applied straight away and she is now COM again! Congrats to on-again, off-again Commodore, Rear Admiral Phantom! :P
 - As I mentioned earlier, the IO's office has now created new messageboards for the EH. To be able to use them, you must have an ELS handle. If you dont, go register and get yours at http://els.minos.net/register.php so you can access the new boards. The boards themselves have also moved back to their old URL of http://www.ehnet.org/mb/index.php. If you have any problems signing up to ELS, get onto IRC and someone should be able to help you :)
 - In Wing news, congrats to CM Talon Jade and CM Apophis Kuma on their promotions to CMDR's of Asp and Cobra Squadron's respectively. Congrats and good luck guys!

 - Citations Report - see below in the 'Squadron Citations' section of this report. Unfortunately Arid is on semi-leave this month, so he has sent just one Cits report to last us the month.
 - Well after SL Predator last week, we've got ANOTHER SL! Welcome to SL Sly and congrats to joining the best squadron on the Intrepid ;)
 - Lots of good things were bestowed upon members of Krayt Squadron this week...and here they are. Congrats to LT Predator on his promotion, Arid on his promotion to Commander and his first ever Bronze Star of the Empire! Sav and myself also received BS's, and a big congrats also goes out to newcomers of the squadron, LCM Cutter and LT S 4patas on their ISM and PC respectively. Both of these medals are their first ever MSEs, so it was a pleasure for me and the flags to award them :)
 - Despite the great end to the week with all the MSE's and promotions coming through, I was a little disappointed in my bittersweet victory in the Krayt Bombardier Training comp. Why? Because I was the only one who flew it! You guys could have wiped the floor with my score and picked yourself up an easy IS-BW, but alas noone did. In the end I put this down to the time of year and being in the middle of the 'silly season', and as such I will not be running any more flying competitions until after christmas. Then we'll have to get in shape for the coming Supremacy Comp in February!
 - Oooh, oooh, one last thing! As I mentioned on the news page of the website (if you read it), I will be away this weekend, returning on Monday morning US-EST. I will endeavour to check my email on Sunday if I can to answer any urgent queries if they come up, but anything sent to me should be CC'd to Gidda and/or Frodo to be safe. In regards to BSF's, send them to my hotmail address, and cc them to Gidda and/or Frodo aswell. I will not be gone long, and there is no comps on atm that need BSF's done ASAP, but if Gidda or Frodo get them, they should find it in their hearts to do them for you...maybe ;) :P
