Commander's Thoughts
I am extemely happy with our acitivity in the SCV competition so far.  We are currently ranked 4th as a squadron and that in my book is good work but dont give up yet.  We still have 2 weeks left in this thing which leaves us plenty of time to catch up to the leader.  We can only win it now with extreme hard work and dedication.
We are totally capable of catching these guys but its up to you.

XO's CORNER
This squadron is achieving things that we only hoped it would.  I am very proud of all of you who are working so hard for your squadron.  We're halfway done with this.  This means we're 16 days from a nice rest.  It also means that we're running out of time to get these citations.  I have contacted most of you individually with your battle assignments, but I will list them again to refresh your memories.  Remember that you personally must fly these battles in order for your squadron to get the 15 bonus points for the citation.  Any battle you miss costs your squadron 15 potential points, plus the points you would have gotten for flying the mission.

Keep in mind these are standing battle assignments.  Do these and only these battles in the order that I gave them to you until I say otherwise or until the competition is over.  They take priority over any other EH activity, as they are worth tons of points when we get the citation.  Back to you Drax.

Squadron News:
-We now have 23 citations which is great increase for the week.  And for all the newer guys in the squad, we gain a citation for just about every battle you fly and I would love to see us break twenty again by next week so lets all fly a battle or two. --Our  XO Jer Stryker has issued assignments for the  week so do everything you can to do what he gives ya.
-The new Hornet messageboard is up and running and I have yet to see very many of our people posting to it so go check it out and lets hear you.  We have a brand new runon up on the message board so stop by and post to it and do be creative.
-Any member of this team that has 0 points comes the end of the comp will be officially Awol'd without delay.  It only takes a minute to do something of point value so I expect something from everybody.  Dont hinder the TEAM, be a part of it!!! 

Wing/Ship News:
-The Vanguard has fallen behind early in the SCV and that is not good.  So this is a general call to all hands on deck, get out there and fly and make her the rightful flagship of the ASF.
