Pilot's Lounge
Rear Admiral Sarin glanced down at his stopwatch and looked up.
"0.25 seconds faster, not bad," he remarked casually.
The crew and been reviewing drills for several weeks now. "Why do we have to do this..." one pilot muttered quietly.
"Because," Sarin said, speaking up, "the Battlegroup competition is in less than a week."
Sarin continued, "This means that we must get this rather simple drill down snap. If we want to win this competition and see the glory of Gondor... Err... Grey Wolf restored, we must practice."
"But..."
"I am glad to see an objection to what I made clear a few moments ago. My TIE Phantom needs a good shine, please see it done."
"The rest of you are dismissed," Sarin concluded.
Meanwhile...
"Have you made the preparations?"
"Yes, sir."
"As any good token villain, I must now cackle loudly. Please join in."
The two suddenly burst into laughter.
"Very good, now, it is clear that the Grey Wolf has been menacing to us for some time. With this latest diversion, it seems like a great time to rid us of them..."
"Excellent idea, sir!"
"Of course it's a good idea!"
"Wait, wait, stop this!"
"What?"
"It is quite clear that this fiction is using the old unmentioned evil people plotting ploy to extend the length of the fiction."
"Darn, you're right. Very well then, on second thought, we'd best wind this plot down. Sorry for the mounting tension, everyone."

Yes, New Years, that time when we all look back and think upon how we can improve things.
New Years, out with the bad, in with the good.

New Years, a time where we can make resolutions.
Unfortunately, most resolutions for improvement are not fufilled and probably forgotten.
Keeping this in mind, here are some New Years Resolutions from the Cardinal:
1. I resolve to play many computer games.
2. I resolve to be highly sarcastic.
3. I resolve to have my gold staff cleaned and polished... By others.
4. I resolve to mock the school system.
5. I resolve to be an overall kinder person, on Sundays, from 2:17 AM until 2:18 AM.

- ASF:SC V has already been explained in great detail through E-Mails. Basically, be active in January. :P
- Some TIE Corps database updates have been made, including a new LoC system. Longer ID lines for all!
- LCM Jrai has retired to the Reserves. With his retirement, a new FL has opened. Contact CMDR Khadgar with any interest towards the position.
