Commander's Thoughts
Well the much anticipated SCV Competition has begun and we have started off a little slower than I had hoped but I have confidence in my squadmates that they will come through and show the rest of the ASF how its done. We will be organizing some MP nites specifically for us all to show up to and gain some of those valuable mp wins. Anyway any thing you guys can muster for the month will be greatly appreciated...Go Hornet!!!

To the few of you who have been working like mad so far, I salute you and drinks are on me (don't drink and fly though).  To the rest of you, you have already wasted two days.  Let's get going here.  The other ships already have a two-fold lead over the Van.  There's IWATS to do, MP, a run-on, and of course, tons of battles to fly.  Speaking of which, here are your assignments for this week:
 
Drax:  Your Discretion
Jer: My Discretion
Vaygen:  XvT-Tc 1 and up or XWA-IW 22 and up
Biges:  Email me and let me know what games you own.
 Opti:  XvT-TC 1 and up (those that you haven't already flown)
Cyber:  XWA-TC's that you haven't flown.
Spears:  all XWA-TC's except 1-10,13,17,21,26-28,30
Dimentex:  Your Discretion
Grimlock:  all XWA-TC's except 1-10,13,17,21,26-28,30
Jensen:  XWA-TC 31-32, any other XWA battles.
noWedge:  Fly lots of MP and try to get the rest of the squad into it.
 
Please keep in mind that I have a strategy behind assigning these battles designed to maximize the number of points our squadron will be awarded during the SC.  Please take these assignments seriously.  I will adjust the assignments next week to reflect any citations we will earn.

Squadron News:
-We now have 17 citations which is great increase for the week.  And for all the newer guys in the squad, we gain a citation for just about every battle you fly and I would love to see us break twenty again by next week so lets all fly a battle or two. --Our  XO Jer Stryker has issued assignments for the week so do everything you can to do what he gives ya.
-The new Hornet messageboard is up and running and I have yet to see very many of our people posting to it so go check it out and lets hear you.  We have a brand new runon up on the message board so stop by and post to it and do be creative.
 

Wing/Ship News:
-The Vanguard is at 61 total pilots!!!  Great work to all those who have contributed by way of recruiting, now lets press on to fill this puppy up all the way to 72.
-The Vanguard has fallen behind early in the SCV and that is not good. So this is a general call to all hands on deck, get out there and fly and make her the rightful flagship of the ASF.
