Viper Squadron's Report #5, 12/06/02




CMDR's Thoughts

It looks like december will be a good month for Viper. Every pilot has reported in and I am very happy about that. Some have RL stress at the moment and can't be as busy as they'd like to be.
We had some major changes in wing14. Col Duncan Idaho resigned from his WingCommander position, because his internet connection has been canceled. His ex-squadron Viper (we!!) gave his shuttle safe escort to the frigate Pheonix where he can relax for some time. I hope you can be back soon Duncan!
Maj Tissaya Argat is the new WingCommander! Congrats Tissy. Her place as Cobra Commander took CM Blade. Grats mate! As you remember Maj Frodo left wing14 some weeks ago, new Krayt Commander is CM (slapperlady) Phantom. YAY!
The medals for November have arrived. Congrats to Chris and John who got an ISM and me who got a PC. As you can see, I reward active pilots. If you want some medals too, just show activity. Another way to get medals is winning one of the running comps.
In the Asp vs Viper comp you should fly XvT TC #34,39,48,50, the pilot with the highest overall score wins an IS-BW. So far Tatsu has flown #39 and Chris #34.
In the Viper Top Ace comp only I flew XvT TC#17 sofar. I will bsf all files after the 2week limit, so nobody will now the final result till the end. Some people had problems with this battle, couldn't install the patch or XvT crashed. Becouse of that I will chose the 2nd battle with more missions so the pilots who couldn't fly #17 have still chances to win the SP part.
Chris is leading the MP segment with 5points(2wins, 1 loss). The rest is still a zero points. C'mon guys, lets do some MP!!(yeah, you're right, the CMDR hasn't flown any MP too, but I had a stressing week and lot of work to do...be sure that I will do a lot MP as soon as I have more time!!).
Some more good news! Viper has a Moral Officer now. Congrats LCM Tatsu who will send some fun stuff around to keep us smiling!
What do you guys think, should Viper have a Squadron Patch? In my opinion it's a good idea. It's a fact that I'm no good in grafics. Is anyone interested in making a patch? If more than 2 ppl are making a patch I will make a comp out of it with shiny things for the winner.
