CMDRs Rantings-
The WOW starts Friday. I plan to fly as much as I am able so I can try for my year end goal of a Combat Rating of 100. If you are able, go fly it’s located on the MSN Game Zone. I may get some time where I am going to make an HTML document on the Squadron Website I am working on that gives you instructions on how to join Battlestats and a match.

Activity has been moderate this week. Nice showing all who were able. See below under activity for a recap. If I missed anything then just let me know and I will make sure it’s in my ATRs.

Since Bolan Remon was removed from the rosters our citation count has jumped to 27!!! We only need 23 more to reach the squadron yearend goal of 50. I will have the list of battles needed posted below.

I have added a new feature to the report this week called refresher training. Each week I will cover a new topic, this week the topic is Transfer Procedures. Also On the Cobra MB I have added the Cobra Comedy Club. Find and post urls to funny Star Wars related sites there.

We will gather all complaints in this Inbox, and deal with them, and forward them to the RS and the ORW Council. This is the reason I don’t fly ORW2 any more. (If we need a complaint line there is a problem)



Weekly Squadron/Wing News-
Go post on the MB Runon. We need post to make a battle from. If you have an idea for a better ro then let me know.
Straight from the COMs mouth -Over the coming weeks I will be conducting a number of Alert Drills. These drills will determine our combat/battle readiness, and also determine where our areas of opportunity exist within each Squadron. With the completion of each drill the WC and I will inform the CMDR’s of what needs to be done and they will then set out to correct this problem. The next drill will then determine if any progress is evident, and if not then other steps will be taken to overcome the situation. We are a Ship of War in the Emperor Hammer’s Fleet, and we should be prepared to do battle against all of our enemies, whether they are internal or external!




Competitions-

Cobra Ace of the Month-
Each week I will total up the FCHG points earned by each Pilot. #1) gets 4 points, #2)3 pts, #3)2 pts and #4)1 pt. After the month is complete all the points from each week will be totaled and the winner will receive an Iron Star-Bronze WINGS.

Cobra Gunner –
Start Date of the Cobra Gunner Comp December 20th,2002 (The day the
WOW starts)every MP match counts as points.
Loss= 1 pt
Win = 2 pts
All Mp matches count, EHCOC and WoW.
Any match played on EHCOC that is not a win must be reported to me in
a email, I don't get notified for losses.
I have this comp submitted but if it's not approved because of lack
of TO I hope to be able to get something done

Xunami Wings- TAC Office CAB COMP

Competition will proceed in two phases.

Phase 1:
Creation of plotlines (used later to make CABs). This is phase for
Fiction writers, etc. You create detailed plotline for your battle (story) and
submit it to TAC. My staff will judge it.
Awards like in FCHG competition:
IS-PR (or adequate subgroup medal) for best plotline and so on. (also
Every plotline writer will receive CoS for his work).

Phase 2:
Creation of CAB battles based on plotlines submitted. Only those who
participated in Phase 1, will be allowed to join Phase 2.
Awards just like in Phase 1.

Important notes:
1. Teams are allowed, if they are multi subgroup it's even better. Team
can have 4 members max. (2 writers, 2 designers).
2. CAB rules must be followed. At least 3 SGs used. Also, your battle
must show real cooperations between SGs. (for example Tie Corps uses
information gathered by Intel, Infiltrator Wing secured HFs capture operations,
etc).
Deadlines:
Phase 1 ends on December 18th 2002.
Phase 2 ends on December 31st 2002.
Winners will be announced on EH Birthday, January 7th



Weekly Refresher Training- This week Transfer Procedures

Transfers procedures- 1. A pilot wishing to transfer should request the transfer first from their own Commander. This allows the Commander time to find out the reasons why the transfer is being requested. If there is a problem in the Squadron, now is the time to correct the problem.
2. The pilot should then find out the email addresses of the Commander and Wing Commander of the Wing to which he or she wishes to transfer. If you can't be bothered to do this much, you're obviously not ready for the level of commitment that a transfer to a new Squadron involves and your transfer request will be denied immediately.
3. The pilot should now send a transfer request to their Commander, cc'ing their own Wing Commander and the Wing Commander and Commander of the Squadron they wish to join.
4. The Commander of the Squadron to which you are transferring should reply to all addressees on the transfer request, remembering to cc the Flight Officer.
5. The Flight Officer will then approve the transfer.


Citations report-
We are up to 27 Citations this week. When Maj Doros was transferred to the reserve we dropped to 5. Then when Bolan Remon was awol’d we gained 22. So that means that we need to fly 23 more to hit our 50. I have come up with a list of Battles we need to fly and here they are...

Final thoughts- This week saw our roster change somewhat. We lost 2 members of our group, one to the reserves and one as an awol. I have a recruit coming (I hope) and I have been going thru the reserves roster looking for more. Major Doros was my squadron CMDR when I first joined the TC, he set the example of how an CMDR is supposed to be. If I had a problem he always listened, and he led by example. I hope to be half the CMDR he was. Bolan was a guy I recruited from the Zone. He was an active member for a bit, but he got discouraged in MP play. He then began to focus more on his DB career and then just went missing. I miss them but we have to move on and Make our own glory. We are the new Generation (except Vess, the only member who has been a Cobra longer than me now :P ) let’s show all these others that Cobra Squadron is a force to be reckoned with. The SC:V comp is coming soon and that will be the time to really show everybody else what we can do.
