CMDR/MAJ Nightmare reporting in for Wasp Squadron, week 11/22/02
12th week of command
News
-Please welcome SL Talon Karrde, he just transferred in from daedelus, so make him feel at home.
-The comp with Echo is still on the way
-A new FL has been chosen, he will be anounced during the week.
-Coranel Both has been Promoted to LCM, Congrats!!!!!!!
-I have been pomoted to MAJOR, so drinks are on me at last…
Status
-Congrats guys, we have chieved our november objective for recruitment (9 pilots). Now on to December, we have to recruit 3 more befor December 25th.
-The battle of the week is XWA TC 2 it can be downloaded at http://www.emperorshammer.net/battles/battle.asp?record=265 and I have also attached it to this e-mail for those of you that are way too lazy.
(the battle of the week will thay the same until we have a citation for that battle)
-All the ship comp information will be in the competitions section.
-Activity is so/so flight 1 is doing great, flight 2 has done ok for this week (will be getting an FL wich will help a lot) but flight 3's acitity is to be desiered, more of this in the FL corner.
Public Relations
-3 FM spots left in the squadron, come be part of this unique thing called Wasp.

Flight Leaders corner
Flight 2:
-Nothing much this week, FL should be anounced befor Wednesday.
Flight 3:
- Activity is on a very low level.
LT Destavol hasn't reported to me(Xuraan) since he joined. SL Nept Dorrack has wrote an email last weekend but hasn't done anything this week.
In general, All members of flight 3 should stay in contact with their FL and myslef regularly and try to be active, I will contact you all individualy later on today.

Recruitment Office
-Recruit old friends from the RESERVES and help cadets still in there training
-When online, see if you can get to #wasp_squadron...i plan on telling potential CT's to be there (you should all do the same)
-RECRUIT!!!!!!!!!! only 3 more pilots and we can finaly kill this section, after that I will never tell you to recruit again (unless we lose people)
Competitions
Here is a list of the Vanguard comps as of present:
2 New comps are announced for all Vanguard Members:
1) Recruitment & Improvment Comp.
Vanguard members are invited to advertise their beloved ship and improve it, bring in new faces, suggest improvements to the running of the ship.
The winner of this comp will be the person who has done most for his/her ship during the time period, this maybe bringing in loads of recuits or simply rocking in Muliplayer comps amounting a mass FCHG points, show the fleet what the members of this ship can do.

3) Your new COM need a new type of ship and a new name for her that best suits his lifestyle, so think up a new ship and name, best one chosen will win a IS-SR
4) Design a new Banner/Graphic to be placed at http://www.emperorshammer.net/rosters/view.asp?ship=9 This has to be really cool to better the one that is there now, IS-SR to the best chosen IS-BR to the 2nd best submission.

What do they look like? design a graphic of one of them or write a story about one or all of them, best submission will win a IS-SR, 2nd best wins a IS-BR.

Miscelaneous
All Sub-Lieutenants should Read this section Carefully:
Getting promoted to full Lieutenant is one of the easyest things to do in your Tie Corps career and it can be done fast. Here is what you can do to get promoted:
-go to http://www.emperorshammer.net/battles/battletypes.asp and download a battle, follow the instructions included with that battle, fly it and send me the pilot file, I will BSF(Battle Submission Form) the file and you will get credit for it. But since we presently do not have the permission to log into the datebase, I canot BSF your pilot files (tfr files for Tie, plt files for XvT and XWA) so you wont get promoted fast this way.
-An other way is to do an IWATS (Imperial Weapons And Tactics School) Course, just go to http://www.emperorshammer.net/iwats.asp and select the cours you want to do. This is probably the best way to get your promotion.
-Another good way is to go online and participat in a Multiplayer Competition, the schedule is located on the lower right hand side of http://www.emperorshammer.net/news.asp This might be the hardest one of them all, because MP is HARD. But it is the one I like the best.
Just remember, do which ever you want, but do it as soon as you can, so that you can become an LT.
