Commander's Thoughts
. It was a pretty good week in the ranks of Hornet. We still have 12 members but with a couple getting MIA'd or AWOL'd our numbers will be down but not for long. I really hoped for more activity from you guys this week but with the holidays I guess it was kind of hectic. Dont forget that many of you will be eligible for promotion at the end of december and just because you got the time dont mean jack to me. If you want you gonna have to earn it, so lets get busy. Long Live Hornet!!!

XO's CORNER
The XO is having problems walking straight tonight so we will have to wait till next week to find out what he has been into. TAC assignments will continue this week. Expect your assignments by the weekend and please for those who did not complete this last weeks assignment do catch up and do extra this week if possible.
Squadron News:
-Welcome our newest member, LCM Cybershadow, an old veteran who served with us before. He is an excellent pilot and a great addition to Hornet. Welcome back Cyber.
-We now have 4 citations which is an increase for the week. Our XO Jer Stryker will be issuing assignments in the next week or so to get us more citations as fast as possible so do everything you can to do what he gives ya.
-The new Hornet messageboard is up and running and I have yet to see very many of our people posting to it so go check it out and lets hear you.
-I have some competitions compending approval but if you have any ideas for some new competitions send me your ideas and we will see what we can do.
-I have put in for the MIA of LT Ustov Melan who was an excellent pilot and perhaps real life caught up with. Hopefully he will get that pesky connection fixed soon and rejoin us.
-Also on the pending AWOL list is LT Noah Qarni who has not responded to my nor our XO's emails so we will have 2 free spots soon..But dont worry the cmdr has a few prospects.
Wing/Ship News:
-COM Sickman is still working on getting us X in the Vanguard IRC channell and hopefully he will get it soon, so until then we have Madflame babysitting us.
- Several competitions hosted by Sickman are running. Please try and participate so you can earn some good medals. Details Below.
-Welcome LT Cronos to Echo, COL Ekim Yellek and MAJ Blair Vallyn to Scorpion, and LT Arkady Grigorovich Ourumov to Mantis and LCM Cybershadow to Hornet. Welcome to all!!

-We all know we have a new BGCOM and he is Darksaber. He is doing his best to restore the ASF to the way it should be so lets give him all we have and do our part.
