Commander's Thoughts

Well its my first week back at the helm of the awesome Hornet Squadron and I must say it has been great. I never thought I would miss my command as much as I did but its good to be back. I know that the database being down has hampered everybody in the TC but lets still get out there and fly battles because they are doing promotions again and without activity no promotions will be awarded. We have a few empty slots which I hope to fill in the next week or two so please help me hit the cadets and reservist so we can fill our ranks.

Squadron News:
-We have two new faces in the ranks of Hornet..Please give a warm welcome to the returning Veteran of Hornet, LCM Jer Stryker and the newest member, LT Ustov Melan..Welcome them to the team!!
-We now have 0 citations which is unacceptable any day so lets all get out there and fly fly fly…Like I said even while the db is down I can give you promotions so lets get busy.
-The new Hornet messageboard is up and running and I have yet to see very many of our people posting to it so go check it out and lets hear you.
-I have some competitions im working on for when the site comes back up but if you have anything you would like to do, let me have your ideas and we will see what we can do.
- Also consider this my first official AWOL check. Those of you listed with no activity have 3 more weeks left to do something before I send you packing. I don’t mean send me an email saying “Hey Im here”, either. I want something from each of you or you are out. If you feel that is to much to ask, get with me and well get you a ticket to the reserves as to avoid any unpleasantness but I hope to see something from everybody as it will take each of you to keep Hornet at the top. Id like to win WC’s Own in my first month back. It is a great honor to have that award so lets see if we can impress Tarkin in Novemeber.
Wing/Ship News:
-BGCOM Darksaber is taking applications for COM of the best ship in the fleet and hopefully we will hear who got the job soon but if youd like to apply feel free to send DS one today and CC our beloved WC Tarkin on it also.
-Welcome Captain Xura Verr who is the new commander of Python Squadron. Good to have you aboard Verr.

Battlegroup News:
-We all know we have a new BGCOM and he is Darksaber. He is doing his best to restore the ASF to the way it should be so lets give him all we have and do our part.
-RA Wil Stryker is the new COM of the Intrepid.
-COL Duncan Idaho is the new WC of the Intrepid.
-RA Khameir Sarin is the new COM of the GW.
-Major Hev Randrowan is the new WC of the GW.
-Congrats all around guys!!!!
