The TC database is back and I was able to BSF your TFRs. As you may
have heard, though, something is wrong with the mailer, so you won't
get those notification mails. That system seems to work only when
there are high scores in the battle, as with two battles I got from
Roasty. Very nice work!
We're still engaged in a comp against Sin, so get flying! We have to
defend the points we gathered by our excellent showing last week!


Squadron News

- The first week of Kappa vs. Sin ended with 51329 to 20794 points.
Kappa had the better results and also higher participation, which
led us to this victory. There are still three weeks to go, though,
so go fly TIE-Free 142 for the second week!

- LT Zyrax is on a one-week-leave.

- Tactical Officer Resigns (FA Priyum Patel)

Greetings,

It has been several months now my performance as Tactical Officer
has been degraded due to a new time-consuming RL job; I guess time
has also lessened my enthusiasm to assume the position, with nearly
20 months overall of service as Tactical Officer, and three years
and half of full time positions within the Tactical Office. During
all these prosperous years, I have participated and directed all the
changes I was willing to be done within this office, changes which
have transformed an office dependent of the TAC's personality into
an organized structure where team work has become a key word. I am
proud of what has become the Tactical Office, but I guess it is
becoming time to see some fresh blood at the head of this office,
assuming also the fact that I can hardly assume the associated work
load with my current situation.

I had planned to resign in past September when my new job began,
with the eh.net server problem I delayed this decision to wait for
the database to be fully operational, to not bring additional mess
to an already troubled situation. The BSF system and associated FTP
services are nearly fully working, and I will leave my position of
Tactical Officer as soon as everything is working, and as soon as
you have selected the future Tactical Officer. I do not plan to
leave the EH, I guess I will continue my career in a less
time-demanding position, where my competences and expertise can help
the EH...
