Fleet News:

The Emperor’s Hammer site is visible, at www.emperorshammer.net, but not yet fully up. So don’t go clicking on things there ‘til Astatine says it’s okay. And yes, that is a direct order from the XO.


Ship News:

The Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout results came out. Our wing placed a solid third, behind Wing II and Wing I. Psi Squadron and Wing II take the title of "Commodore’s Own." Congratulations to them.

Sovereign Battles of the Month: TIE-TC 185, XvT-TC 17, XWA-TC 9. Due 31 October, IS-GW through IS-BW available for each battle. Plus, extra points in the Deathmask Units comp for flying these battles!

Wing IV had some nice individual showings in the Bombing Run Blowout, with LC Halcyon earning an IS-GW for the flying portion, and me finishing just behind him for an IS-SW, plus an IS-SR in the writing portion. The fact that Halc’s amazing MS Paint graphic did not win I can only explain by blatant favoritism. :P

LC Halcyon has passed the new and improved TIE Mission Design course! Woohoo!

As you can see, we’re well on the way to meeting the squadron goal of 1000 points. There’s still one week left to fly, or take an IWATS class, or whatever!

Just as a reminder, here are the point values for the activities:
Sov Battle of the Month: 20 pts
TC battle: 15 pts
Other battle: 10 pts
Free mission: 2 pts
Participation in Sov Nighthawk Comp (3-6 PM EST): 10 pts
TC Mission Design: 50 pts
Ship-related Graphics: 15 pts
IWATS course: 10 pts
Ship-related fiction: 5 pts/page (20 max per entry)


Dead Ewok Citations: 85

Or, in other words, the number of citations that Yod would currently have if we could sneak a dead Ewok onto our roster to bring our pilot total up to 6. If you’d like to bring this number up, here are some battles you could fly:
