Hey Squadron Report for November 4th through 9th 2002.

Hey Hey! Time for this week's squadron report. Been a quiet week, but a fairly productive one. So let's do it!

SQUADRON NEWS
-------------

Our competition with Delta Squadron continues until Monday the 11th. So far, I think we've got this one in the bag. I've only been forwarded one or two pilot files from Delta and we've submitted four. But we'll wait and see.

The AWOL check is still going until Sunday. I've heard from just about everyone, so that's good.

Other than that, nothing to report squadron-wise.

Status update

There was a locking issue with the BSF system that was preventing zipped pilot files from being loaded. Preliminary testing shows the problem appears to have been fixed. The TAC staff will be conducting further testing over the weekend. This is pretty much the last major sticking point in the site's functionality and once resolved, the site will go live.

I have decided to appoint former ASF BGCOM, Admiral Cyric, as my Command Attaché. He will be helping me with various administrative duties, but these will NOT include the general upkeep of the TIE Corps rosters. Therefore it is not necessary to CC him on routine Flight Office emails.

Yes, we lost ORW2 this time, cause we didn't participiated in the 1st War, last week. However from next week on, we are going to rock in this Comp. We got only the half of the matches of some other clubs, cause this was our 1st time! :-) However, I thank you all for participiating, and encourage all MP Pilots to join #OuterRim again next Saturday on 14:00 EST (7:00 pm EST).

Woohoo! Everyone cross your fingers about the DB coming online after this weekend! I want to do my BSFs and clean out my inbox.

I'm buying drinks! I was awarded a Crescent with Topaz Star for coming in 3rd in comp within Clan Satal Keto! Yay!

Got my replacement motherboard installed in my new system after a two month and some-odd day wait. No joy. Looks like the processor got fried. Hopefully in a week or so I'll have the replacement processor. For now, I guess I'll cry in my beer. :P
