CMDR/CM VinDoros Reporting in for Vampire Squadron, November 15th 2002
 
Squadron News:
 
I have taken over as your new Fearless Leader. Congrats to me! :)  In other news, LCM Kane Reese is the new XO (I mentioned this in my previous email, but wanted to mention it again.) I've also chosen a flight leader for Flight 3. It is my pleasure to announce Major Mosh as the new Flight 3 Flight Leader. Drinks are on Mosh, and Kane. Captain Gutt, Acting Commander of Demon Squadron has challenged us. He is checking out the mission I recommended. Details to come soon.
 
Other News:
Mosh, it might be a good idea if you keep your Gundark in your quarters. If Auto or RW see it running around again, they might have it blasted :P
 
Wing XI News:
      There is currently a GFX Competition going on as most of you are already aware. The Graphic at the top  was a submission by LCM Kane Reese and will win by default if no one else submits gfx. The comp will run for another Week so on the 20th of November it will be over and Winner will be greatly rewarded. As most of us know CPT BratStone Demon CMDR has had to go on emergency leave due to his wife being very sick CPT Gutt has been temporarily assigned to Demon to stand in as it's A-CMDR. And in further MAJ Mark is Wing XI's new XO congrats to him. I will be adding a topic later today on our Message Board that will allow you to tell the COM and I what you would like to see from us as the Flag Officers aboard the Immortal ie... Comps, Meetings, ect.....
       
Weekly meeting's in #ISD_Immortal, 1pm EST...Be there...or, you'll probably be somewehre else :P
 
Squadron Status/Orders:
 
IMPORTANT: Starting today and running till next friday, i'm running an AWOL check! I want everyone to report into me ASAP.
 
Do the GFX Comp for Wing XI. LCM Kane Reese has already submitted gfx for this, and sent me a couple for Vampire. Try to fly at least one battle a week, if possible. And if anyone sees any potential recruits, pick 'em up :)  Post on the WingXI Message boards and the new Vampire Board. Stay in contact with me, and your Flight Leaders.
 
From the COMM REPORT:The Top Gun competition will be continued this month. Basically, the pilot that wins the most MP matches will recieve an IS-SW. The runner-up will recieve an IS-BW. Also, you don't have to wait until official EH comps for this. You can set up your own quick skirmishes while on IRC and I will count those as well, as long as you send me the results of the win.
 
Also, the last Phase of ECR should be starting soon. We need 100% participation.

Communicate, and be active. Its not that hard to do. Fly a battle, post on the boards, stop into #ISD_Immortal and say "hi". If anyone has any ideas, questions, gripes or complaints...just let me know. My door is open to my pilots. If someone would like to see a runon started..let me know. Or you got a particular squadron who's butt you'd like to see kicked...let me know.  I'll be working on a plan to increase our citations soon (still need the TC database to be back up). And remeber, if you submit something to the WC or the COMM, CC me all activity, so I can keep acurate track of what everyone's doing. I wish everyone a good weekend. :)
