Tempest Squadron Weekly Report #15 – 20th of May 2005


***~Introductory Note~***

Well, a very slow week this one, with not much to report. I think I’ll throw something at you guys this week, to spice things up a bit :).

About Tempest Tactics Workshop, you should all consider it a permanent thing...this means that whenever you feel like trying a Tie-Free Mission, you can ask me to help you out with tactics for this mission....Give it a try!!

Now, I present you this week’s:


***~Squadron News~***

* LCM Mike Keyman inaugurated Tempest Tie Fighter Tactics Workshop, by flying Tie-Free 244. I just flew the mission myself, and I can say that I made a bad choice when picking this mission, because it has absolutely NO TACTICS AT ALL!!!! I apologize to Mike for that, and we’ll pick another one anytime now.....I expect other people to do the same!!!

* Squadron Standing Orders: every week I want you to do one of the following:
- Fly something from the Mission Compendium
- Participate on Tempest Tie Fighter Tactics Workshop
- Take an IWATS Course
- Write some fiction
- Create a graphic
- Submit something for the Squadron Report (Fiction, graphics, garbage, etc)

* Recruitment
If you haven't noticed Tempest is in desperate need of pilots, get out there and ask your friends, your relatives, parents, grandmothers, dogs, I don't care, let’s just get some people in here.
I am offering an ISM per recruit (Cadet and RSV's alike) and a PC per 5 recruits, so there’s a chance for you to get lots of medals and to help not only the squad but also the wing.

* Pick a Free mission you want to fly, and tell me if you want help with it’s tactics
* Fly a FREE mission......or a battle if you dare
* Take an IWATS course
* Participate on every competition that is released


***~Wing/BG News~***

* Don’t forget about Wing X’s Sunday meetings, at #wing_x, at 06:00pm EST (GMT -5:00). Trivia is going on, show up if you can!!!

* Typhoon is doing a tremendous job at flying. This month should beat last month’s record of missions flown. Just makes me sad that Tempest Pilots have not flown much this month.

* Wing X is now one of the largest Wings in the fleet!!!! That’s great, but Tempest has only 7 pilots...I want new recruits!!!!

* Imperial Storm starts tomorrow....let’s help the TCBG in anyway that we can!!!

* Squadron of the Month is Typhoon Squadron (April)
