Phoenix Squadron Report #1, 9 JUN 05

Squadron News

-As you all should know by now, I am CM Daniel Russell your new squadron commander. This is my first report with Phoenix, so if there is anything that you do not like or would like to see, please do not be afraid to tell me. The recent introductory e-mail should tell you anything else about me that you would like to know.
-For this past week I have been working to get many things done for the TC, including battles and TCS work, but also groundwork for the squadron which is currently my main priority. But, this is also your squadron, and you can help me make it a better one. Anything that you would like to see should be reported to me, and I will do whatever I can to make it possible.
-SL Ratin has just recently been assigned to the squadron from the Reserves. Let us all give him a nice, warm Phoenix welcome whenever we get a chance.
This past week I have made a request to MinosNIC web hosting account so that we may have a website of sorts. Although its status is still pending, I hope to have something up and running soon enough as a decent source.

Squadron Status

-All pilots in the squadron have been sent an introductory e-mail from me requesting a reply. If you have not yet replied to this e-mail, please do so as soon as possible so that I know you are still alive and well.
-The previously mentioned e-mail check revealed two possible MIAs: LT Ganon and LC Choosh. I am working to get a hold of these individuals through other means now, and will give them one week. If you have made any contact with them recently, please inform me as soon as possible.
-There are several different competitions going on right now in the wing, all with decoration to be achieved. They are as follows:

-For future reference, this squadron report and all future squadron reports will be posted at both the TIE Corps Database, and our squadron message board. Yes, believe it or not, we do have an extremely unused message board that I intend on utilizing for at least something.

Miscellaneous

-A new IWATS course has just recently been released, titled Tactical Mission Creation and Beta Standards. I was required to take this as a Tactical Surveyor, and learned a fair amount. I encourage anyone else to take this as well, since the knowledge in it is good and it is not too difficult.
