Commander Carcharoth reporting for Hornet Squadron on 05/27/05

The sound of a TIE Engine sound coming from the Alarm Clock next to the bunk woke Jori up. He smashed the alarmclock which immediately went silent. As he opened his eyes, he realized this wasn't his bunk. Somewhat confused, he looked aruond and then realized it was the CMDR's room, in which he moved in just a couple of days ago.

It has been a slow week on the ISD Vanguard, which had to pull out of the Bilbiringi system after the raid on the Sienar Shipyards and Imperial Sector Command. Now she was stationed near Bastion, where there was little action for her to do.

After Jori dressed himself, he went to the Tiger's Den, the bar of the Vanguard, hoping to be the first to have breakfast and get all the stra'berry jam (made from stra'berries found on Bastion) before there was none left.
He stepped in the Tiger's Den, and was relieved to know that he was the first to arrive. he loaded up some food and looked for a place to sit. Suddenly he noticed a strange pile in a corner of the room.
Jori walked to the pile, and then realized it was no pile. It was his former commander Jer Stryker, half-sleeping, unshaved, and with a smell of Corellian Ale around him. "You all right? What have you been doing here?" asked Jori.
"Hey, COMMANDER", said Jer, still in a state of half-drunkness. He made a sloppy wave with his hand, which was supposed to be a salute. "ive been celebrating your appointment as CMDR and i got a little carried away."
"Well, you still have 3 hours to sober up before the briefing today...we're going to take over Tatooine...the ISD Intrepid and ISD Grey Wolf have already been dispatched", said Jori. "Lets get you back to your room and make sure you're in time for the briefing." "Aye-aye-sir." replied jer.

After Jori finished his breakfast, he went to his office, where there already was someone waiting for him. it turned out to be Lieutenant Maric Winter, the newly assigned pilot to Hornet Sqd.
"Good morning sir!", said Maric rather enthousiastic, and made a hastily salute.
"Good morning Lieutenant", and Jori returned the salute. "What bring you here this early?"
"Well i've been practicing quite alot of simulated battles and im here to show you my results!"
"Exellent work Lieutenant!"
Maric: "Thank you sir!"
Jori:"Well im going to prepare my briefing for today, you go and get your ship prepared...its still not battle-ready now, is it?"
"Negative sir, ive been having some trouble finding the right parts i need but now we're close to Bastion, i should be able to find the things i need..she'll be ready in about 10 hours", replied Maric.
"Ok, ill see you at the briefing. Dismissed, Lieutenant!"

Okey next:
We still have an open FL position, which needs to be filled. LT Maric has already volunteered to be a FL, but i want to let everyone have an equal chance for it. It's not that much of extra activity, so consider it. (no Draiff you're not egliable (is that written right?))

I've not yet registered the FW stats for any of you, so if you've flow in FW, let me know. I'll probably get that up by the next report.

Freeworlds
We lost the SFS and ISC in the Bilbiringi system to the pirates. High command has set its sights on Tatooine to make it a bit easier for us to make money (mine water in kuat, sell at Tatooine)
The planned TE this saturday has been moved to Sunday 5th of June, 8PM GMT/5PM EST. I won't be able to make it to that TE.

Make sure you check the Hostilities list, it changes alot, so make sure you know who your enemies are!
