We have two competitions starting next week on the 20^th.  Hades Run On “Operation Bumble Bee”, which will run until the 20^th of September.  Hades Ascension is a Flying Comp using TIE-TC 200 ‘Ascension’, which will run for two weeks and end on the 4^th of September.  The Flying comp winner will be the highest scorer according to the BSF and will earn an Iron Star w/ Bronze Wings.  I will determine the Run On winner with both the Quality and Quantity taken into consideration with the winner earning an Iron Star w/ Bronze Ribbon.  The Run On will be on the Hades Message Board: http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewforum.php?f=115.  I am going to offer a wide variety of comps, participate in the ones you want and be sure you are having FUN!!

 

Flight 2 is in need of a Flight Leader.  If you would like the position email me and let me know, I want to get this spot filled ASAP.  I have also posted a recruitment message on the MB’s.

 

We have a new egroup on Yahoo.  I have invited all of you already.  Be sure to join if you have not yet.

 

I will be out of town from Sunday the 15^th to Tuesday the 17^th.  I will have no email access until the 17^th.

-- Planning is under way for TIE Corps implementation of Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed operations. The game is expected into beta this fall. FA Cyric has appointed VA Ky Terrak and me to lead the TC implementation of JTL. We are hashing things out with leaders of The Fringe, including GN Compton, also of Omega Squadron. As things stand now, we are looking at each battlegroup being allowed to open a JTL squadron. So, the Sovereign likely will have a JTL squadron when the game comes out.

"ISD Predator has been opened! RA Solaris Machinus is the Com, MAJ Caine is the WC. The CMDRs will be named shortly, and there will be a site for the ship with mission statements and requirements posted soon. FreeWorlds is one step closer to being a reality for the TC. SA Astatine has been sent the DB changes needed and we await him to complete this before members can be placed in ernest." (COM's note: Freeworlds is a Star Wars mod of Freelancer.)

-- Imperial Storm V discussions continue, and the game may start in September.

-- FA Cyric reminds CMDRs and their squadrons can receive no new FMs if they have any FL positions vacant.

The COO 24/7 LoC Submission form is currently undergoing a bit of recoding. They system should be operational in the very near future. All LoCs that have been submitted over the past week will need to be resubmitted due to a loss in data. The Combat Operations Office apologizes for this inconvenience.

FreeWorlds and the EH, TC

Echo Co has been created or redirected to be the FreeWorlds Training Company! If you create a clone for FW, please on your name add FW at the end of your profile name and in the notes section place Clone of (whateveryourpinis) for Free Worlds.

Iwats Core, Iwats FW, and 5 hours (Screenshot) of ingame playtime are the requirements.

Also before choosing a squadron contact RA Solar Machinus and Maj Caine of the Predator so they can place you where you should be.

Also, all EH people playing Freeworlds on Burnout contact RA Machinus about getting into a squadron tag (compulsory)

Freeworld Squadrons

As well as selecting Squadron Commanders for the Predator Squadrons, we're also assigning people to FM positions. If you intend to continue playing Freeworlds as an EH character, it's important that you get yourself into a Squadron since the [EH] tag no longer exists.

The first thing to do is to read the Predator Mission Statement. This explains how everything will work. Then you need to email myself and WC/MAJ Marcus Caine and tell us:

• Which Squadron you wish to join (either Predator or non-Predator)
• If you wish to join with a Clone or your primary profile

The details on clones is in the Mission Statement. We'll reply with instructions ASAP.

Also note that unless you're name is down on the Wolf Squadron list, you should note be flying the TIE Phantom (technically using the [EH] tag is also illegal now).

 

CMDRS for ISD Predator sought

With the opening of the ISD Predator we are now looking for possible Squadron Commanders to fill the newly created positions. Application details can be found on the EH message boards at: http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=3273

This is a great opportunity to help with the integration of the first MMORPG the TIE Corps has seen and the first new platform in a while. Participation in this project will have greater ramifications than just how Freewolds works, including helping the TC to prepare for JTL. The rewards for those willing to put the effort in to get Freeworlds of the ground will be great.

Operation Bumble Bee

This is a Run On that will be run on the Hades Message Board. The winner will be chosen by me and will be judged on by both the quantity and quality of the posts. The winner gets an Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon.

Story: A New Republic Spec-Ops unit has been training insurgents in an EH border system. Intelligence says they have a Dreadnaught under the command of Admiral Hague, 3 Modified Corvettes (each with 1 Flight of Fighters), and a Spec Ops Squadron on the Dreadnaught. They are posing as Mercs and High Command wants them gone, but we can't just take them out. We need to gain some Intel first, which means coming in with a cover story and making contact.

Our cover is that we are a Merc group that has heard their may be work in the system. Our ships will be loaded on a Nebulon-B Class Frigate, "Crimson Fury", under the command of our Wing Commander LC Guthwulf.
