Krayt Squadron - Weekly Squadron Report
Aboard the ASF Flagship -- ISD-II Intrepid

Hey all! Well, there goes the second week of the SC VI comp and we are now at the halfway mark of the Comp...already! The month is flying by at the moment and Krayt is faring pretty well in the standings of SC, but there is still 2 weeks left and plenty of work to do! We also need more active pilots to help us do it, something which is lacking in Krayt, but not at all exclusive to our squadron. I'd like to see a few more of you take part in Supremacy Comp, and hope to see more activity in the next 2 weeks from the rest of the squadron! I'll let you get onto the report now in the hope that it will motivate more of you to fly for SC VI. Hope to see plenty of activity this week! Enjoy your weekend! :)
 
General News;

 - TAC Mike has released some new battles last week. XW-TC 9, XvT-TC 85 and 86, and XvT-Free 157 are ready to be downloaded and flown! Fly them for SC VI! Apparently there is more on the way, so keep an eye out this weekend.
 - The TAC also announced this week that he is after a new TCHC, and apps are open. However I have since seen Lt. Colonel DT Hammer sporting TCHC in his messageboards signature, so I think he may have got it!
 - After all the changes in the ATF of late, the final piece is back in place this week with the naming of the new SSD Avenger COM. Congrats to Rear Admiral Ky Terrak on his promotion to RA and Commodore!
 - RA Ky Terrak is also chasing a WC for his Wing XVIII aboard the SSD Avenger....so plenty of WC positions around at the moment! 
 - A new Wing IX Wing Commander has also been chosen this week after apps only opening on Sunday. Due to former WC Ky Terrak's promotion, MAJ Sarn Erec has been promoted to the WC spot. Congrats Sarny!
 - There is a 2v2 XWA Tourney on the zone this weekend. If anyone is itching for some 2v2 XWA multiplayer action, see if you can hook up with someone on IRC. I will be unable to wing anyone as it is on Sunday, which is Monday in Australia and I'll be at work :(
 - ISD Vanguard COM is also still open for apps. Apps will be closing this Sunday. I told WC Nightmare I was gonna apply and you shoulda seen the look of shock and fear on his face! Was great :P Seriously though, I hope for the ASF, Nighty's and the Wing's sake that Cyric gets some serious apps and he finds the right person!

 - Well, there is really only one thing that we need to worry about at the moment, and that is that the ISD Intrepid is getting it's ass handed to it in the Supremacy Comp VI competition. Most of the squads are doing ok, but when you look at the SC VI stats for the wing, it's mostly the same people as always contributing. I'd really like to see some more activity from the squad also. Predator and myself are keeping us turning over, but as yet noone else has submitted anything for the sqd! I've had a few promises to fly and I know we have 3 members in situations where they cannot be active, but with so many ways to earn points I cant understand why noone else has done a thing. Even if you only do a fiction, some IWATS or even a set of Trivia questions, that still helps the sqd and the Int out for the comp, so please make an effort to at least get on the board for SC VI this next week!
    The current standings for the Int can be found at http://www16.brinkster.com/intshire/scscoresvi.htm and the ISD Grey Wolf's stats can be found at http://www.isdgreywolf.net/Squadrons.htm. As you will see, we are completely being outgunned by the GW, thanks mostly to two squadrons. You will also see that Krayt itself is currently the top squadron aboard the Int, and the 3rd squadron overall. Predator and I will be continuing to fly as much as we can to keep us where we are and to help the Int, but we do need all the help we can get from the rest of the squadron. I dont expect everyone else to earn 200pts or anything like that, but if even 2-3 of you can earn 50pts or so each, thats definitely going to help us out! So anything you can do will help and be appreciated....lets really come out and show the ASF what we're made of in the last 2 weeks of the competition!
 - The other piece of Squadron news for this week, is that LT Predator has won Round 1 of the Krayt SC VI FCHG Race with an FCHG gain of 142 points and has a shiny IS-BW coming his way! Congrats Predator! :)
