SC VI has started!! *Panic Panic*. Well, there goes the first week of the SC VI competition! Once again, and promise this is not becoming a pattern, but sorry for the late report! Setting up a party yesterday took longer than I thought, so here I am at 2pm my time on Sunday afternoon, finishing it off. It's taken me about an hour, so there is plenty in the report, especially centred around our great squadron! So I guess I'd better stop blabbering so you can get reading huh? Have a great weekend/week everyone, and remember....shower me with activity!
 
 
General News;

 - The biggest news of this week is that Supremacy Comp VI has started!!! This competition is on throughout the month of February and the winner becomes (or stays in our case) ASF Flagship!
 - The long vacant position of Logistics Officer (LO) was filled last weekend. Congrats to Xander Drax on his promotion and new position!
 - A new COM has been appointed for the ISD Immortal, after RA Locke Setzer was declared MIA. Congrats to RA RogueWing on his promo!
 - A new Wing Commander for Wing VIII has also been chosen, congrats to MAJ Aeolus!
 - The 2004 edition of the Sovereign Squadron League is going to be starting soon, and LC Todbringer is currently looking for a scoring coordinator/judge for XvT. If your seriously interested you can email Tod at todbringer@poczta.onet.pl and CC Proton at hullbreach@warpmail.net.
 - If any of you use an ehnet.org email address, please check out the news post on the TC news page, there has been some problems with it of late, and Ari wants anyone who has an account to send him some details to get them setup on the new ehnet.org mail server. :)
 - TAC Mike has released some new battles! XW-TC 9, XvT-TC 85 and 86, and XvT-Free 157 are ready to be downloaded and flown!

 - Guess what guys?!? Guess who the new WC's Own Squadron for January is? Thats right....US! Congrats to the squadron, in particular LT Predator, for playing their part in the squadron winning WC's Own, for the 6th month in the 8mths I've been CMDR! Yay...drinks on me!!!
 - It seems it's the month of the Predator this month too...as Frodo has announced that LT Predator is the new COM Protector! Congrats to LT Predator!!
 - More great news too! In case you guys hadn't noticed, we have a new FL! Congrats and welcome to CM Aresis Lothorekith on his return from RSVs to take up Arid's old position! Hope you enjoy your new possie and Assault Slugboat Aresis, and dont forget I like to have active FL's....especially during SC VI ;)
 - On that note, as was mentioned in the General news, a few hours after I sent out my report last weekend, DS announced the Supremacy Comp VI open! It's been on for a week now (and continues until the end of Feb) and Krayt is going along at a steady pace. At the present time, from my own records and scoring, we're on about 500-550 points. However, this does include a few things like FCHG/CR rank gains (10pts each rank gain) which will not be awarded until DS returns, and a few HS's and stuff. 
    The only thing that is of concern to me at the present time is that it is currently only LT Predator and myself who are participating in the competition. Now I know a few of you have limited PC time, but like I mentioned in the email last week, you dont HAVE to fly to be active. SC VI emcompases everything - IWATS, Fiction, GFX, Battle/Mission Design, Single Player and Multiplayer flying. Hell, you even get points for losing MP matches, and for gaining ranks in your FCHG and CR. So, noone really has any excuse not to at least submit a fiction or an IWATS test or two and get 'on the board' so to speak. IWATS would also be the best focal point of activity for some of you guys, as most of you are 'new' and have only done 1-2 IWATS courses, out of a possible 20 or so. With a completed and passed IWATS course being worth 4 points, there is great potential for some relatively easy points for yourselves and the squadron! So please, I'd like to see a bit of activity from everyone in this next week.
    Just to give you guys a better idea on how we're going, and to encourage you to be on this list next week, here are our estimated current scores;
        - MAJ CrimsonFury: 319 points
        - LT Predator: 188 points
        - Total: 507 points
    LT Predator is also currently leading the IWATS Category to the best of my knowledge, with 7 complete IWATS Courses!

 - In regards to the website, yesterday I added a little gimmicky thing to everyone's uniform graphic pop-up. Now if you hover the cursor over your uniform, it will display your complete ID-line and medals, IWATS etc. :)
 - And last, but definitely not least....I'd like you all to join me in welcoming LT Rollo Tomassi to Krayt! Welcome aboard Rollo, and congratulations on becoming the 11th member of the Intrepid's WC's Own and all conquering Krayt Squadron! ;) I hope to see you around/hear from you soon, and also see some lovely pilot files or other activity soon! :)
 - Oh, actually one last thing. Krayt, in addition to winning WC's Own, also kicked some butt in the 'Beat the COM Protector' competition last month. LT 4 patas, LCM Cutter, LT Predator and myself all competed in at least one round, and everyone got at least one IS-BW for beating the former COM Protector, CPT SavageAz's scores. Oh, yeh...and I won! So I get 4 pretty little IS-BW's and 1 IS-SW, so the squad ended up raking in 8 IS's total for the comp! ;) Anyway, was great to see such great activity from Krayt in the competition!
