"...you are cleared for
docking on your current flightpath, Andraste. Maintain velocity and
heading." The young male voice echoed through the cockpit anonymously, faceless,
bodiless. Reaching a thinly gloved hand forward, the pilot
responded.
"Roger that, control. I'm
locked on the meatball... maintain approach, aye. Andraste out." Was
the reply, borrowing terms of a simpler age. Lining himself up with the blinking
lights upon the underside of the ship, a hand set the ship on a slow roll
bringing the cockpit inline with the bright white landing bay. Easing the
throttle back gently and engaging the repulsorlifts, the unidentified pilot set
his K-Wing gently upon the deck. Powering down quickly, he slid the cockpit open
and dropped to the deck calmly. Pausing briefly to brush some soot off of his
wing, the black clad pilot turned at the hiss of a door behind him. A grin split
the weathered face of the old pilot, contorting his small collection of scars
evilly. The officer strolled forth from the door patiently, coming to a stop in
front of the old pilot emotionlessly. A few seconds passed, followed by a burst
of laughter as neither could maintain the illusion. Various ground crewmen
exchanged confused glances, as only the older technicians amongst them
understood. Handshakes were exchanged between the two officers.
"Vice Admiral, eh? What ever
happened to the little Lieutenant Commander I used to know?"
"Someone got vengeful and
promoted him." The Commodore replied.
"Wait... I think I remember
how to do this... like this... and then..." Bringing his feet together, Colonel
Wes Janson snapped off a smart salute, answered by a snarl and a hiss from
Gilad. "Reporting for duty, SIR!"
"Bastard."
"Yes SIR!" Janson answered,
grinning. "So, what have you done to my ship since I left?"

Yaaay. My office/inbox is always open for you to BSF bomb, flame, hatemail, etc.
I'm an open guy and easy to approach (Stop your snickering, Joey. Seriously), so
any ideas for your Squadron, please dont hesitate to inform me.
I'm always on the lookout for competitions and such. And yes, this WSR will
probably suck. Too bad. I fell asleep on the way home from work, and everything
hurts. End CMDR introduction.

So begins another run with
command in my career, and I'm looking forward to working with you all. Feel free
to contact me at any time regarding any matters, my inbox is always open to you.
Ideas for competitions are especially welcome, as I'd like to see some ideas
come from and run by the younger members for experiences sake. I'll work on
developping my own competitions in time, try to spurn some activity.
If anyone has some design-y
skills and would like to create for me a report template... I'll love you
forever and shower you with medals and
stuff.
