Sitting alone at the bar, CPT Braxus watched as the blond tech walked away. He had just been turned down for a date. "Typical..." he whispered and gestured the bartender for another Corellian Ale.

Three weeks had past since the battle in the Iridona System and MAJ Archangel had given all Ravager pilots one months Leave, well what was left of Ravager. LT Rainman was KIA and LT Zarn's flight status had been revoked after he suffered heavy Cranial Damage. CM Archer had third degree burns over thirty five percent of his body and lost his left arm, lung and 3 ribs. Braxus himself had his own cybornetic right arm replaced and extensive damage to his nervous system from the feedback. All in all the only member of Ravager squadron that had not been injured was LCM Conjure. CPT Alsdyr had been reassigned to Ravager as FL3 after the battle. All in all, Ravager was not in too good a shape.

Satisfied that his life could not get any worse, Braxus payed the bartender and left for his quarters.

"BEEP-BEEEEP" Braxus rolled out of bed at the sound of the room's comstation.

"This is Braxus. This better be important" he grumbled

"Braxus, this is Archangel. Report to my office in 20 min."

"Yes sir. May I ask why, sir?" asked Braxus with a puzzled _expression

"No you may not. Youll find out in 20 minutes. Archanel out."

As he approched the Wing Commander's office 20 min. later, Braxus checked to make sure he shaved one last time. Possitive his looks were satisfactory, Braxus knocked.

"Come" responed the muffled voice of Archangel

The door opened and Braxus stepped in and gave a crisp salute.

"Captain, i have some bad news that could not wait till your leave was over. please sit down" spoke Arch wis a low tone

As Braxus took his seat, the Major continued " I regret to inform you that CM Archer has been classified as a Section 8. He was removed from command of Ravager just before i contacted you. He has been placed in flight 3 untill his paperwork goes through."

"Was it the battle damage, sir?" asked Braxus with a sad tone

"The reasons for his Section 8 are classified, Captain." said Archangel as he grabed a bottle of Geno-tonic and poured two glasses "The reason i called you here was to inform you that with Archer leaving, i have decided that command of Ravager go to you." he continued as he passed one glass to Braxus

"I dont know what to say, sir. Ravager is in shambles, there has to be someone more quialified then me for this job."

"As of right now your the new Commander of Ravager Squadron, Captain. The decision is final."
