I was very busy with RL things week. Nevertheless, we have some good news. Let's take a look!

Squadron News:

• The Fury Motto and Nickname Creation ended today! I received several submissions. Although
  I hoped for more, choosing was very difficult because of the high quality of the submissions.
  Winner is LT Todar. Medal is on the way. You can read the new motto's and nicknames in the
  Roster section. A honourable mention goes to CM Yun.
  
  
• In the next few days, you can expect to be added to the new squadron e-mailgroup.
  
  
• Communication is fun! Try to visit our IRC Channel (#furysquad). You'll probably find someone
  around 22.00h GMT/16.00h EST. Post on our message board!
  
  
• As you probably have read in the WC, COM and BGCOM's report, the Sovereign League is
  running. If you would like to compete, don't hesitate do so! I will mail you soon about the
  possibility of Fury joining the competition. Until then, you can still participate in the
  individual competition!
  
  
• Besides the Sovereign League (SL), a lot of flying competitions are being hosted. Take a
  look in the competitions section of this report!
  

Wing News:

• BGCOM's Judgment ended this week. Results will be out soon!
  

Tie Corps News:

• Competition Consultancy

  The Training Office has launched a new service open to all members of the Emperor's Hammer (although
  specifically aimed at Squadron Commanders and Flag Officers in the TC): Competition Consultancy.

  In his capacity as a TOA, Admiral Darksaber is willing to work with any Officer in the discussion of
  competition ideas and in the organisation of said competitions. Interested Officers need but e-mail 
  him at darksaber@minos.net.
  
  

• Wing Commander position for WING IX open

  ISD Relentless, Wing IX Commander position is open for applications.
  
  Requirements are
  
  Able to work with AD Mell and the rest of the TIEBG Staff
  Able to respond to mails in a sufficient amount of time
  Good organizational skills for COMPS
  No Major HCI Convictions in the last 6 months
  Other basic requirements apply
  
  If you think you have what it takes, mail AD Mell and VA Bubba with your applications.
  
  Application deadline is Tuesday March 30th.
  
  
• WING XIV Commander Promoted to General

  It is with great Honor that I announce that Wing Commander For Wing XIV, Gidda, has
  been promoted to the rank of General.Gidda has been one of the hardest working Flag Officers in the
  Tie Corps, Consistently going above and beyond the call of duty. Congrats!
  
  
• Wing Management Course

  Ladies and Gentleman of the TIE Corps. Following in the steps of Squadron Management, today we
  launch the new Wing Management IWATS course.

  This course has been compiled by AD Mell Kerrigan - based on materials from FA Kessler and others
  - and is intended to provide a benchmark introduction to the position of Wing Commander.

  It seems some people still have EHBL related problems. For all of those who would like them solved,
  our very own CA:IO Robert Dura, created EHBL bug tracker, our technical support. Go and see this link
  and post any EHBL related problems you encounter. We will try to help ASAP.

  Pilots will send jokes through the Avenger Egroup for 1 month. At the end of the month
  the members of the Avenger will vote on the best Joke that was submitted. The best joke
  wins an IS-SR with second place getting an IS-BR.
