Hey everyone, I have a piece of fiction for you to read first, before my report. It was created by Cap'n Braxus. He will continue it next week. Happy Reading!
"Hand me the hydrospaner." Chief Tech Sifron ordered as engine coolant sprayed out at him.
Chuckling, Tech Gains passed it to him just as the Chief grabbed it out hand. A few twists and the leak was fixed.
The hanger bay was filled with damaged and half working craft. Two of his fighters and three Assault Transports had be lost in the battle. Now the Chief was forced to watch his incompetant subordinants cause more damage then there already was.
"See, you always secrure the coolant chamber before you adjust the mixing ratio." The Chief commented as he wiped his face clean. "Let this be an example of what not to do" He continued with a hint of menace
Just then, the Chief noticed a spark out of the corner of his eye. Tech Miles was repairing several pieces of Hull armor on the Scimitar Assault Bomber that the three of them were working on.
"Miles, turn that welder off NOW!!!!!!" But it was too late, the sparks had decended and ignighted the engine coolant the surounded the fighter.
As he started to be ingulfed by flames, Chief Tech Sifron couldnt help but ask himself one question. Why such inexperianced people alive? As the Fighter exploded, his question was answered. They no loger were.
Two Days Earlyer.....
The Hanger Bay was especialy busy. Wing Commander Archangel had ordered a mock fighter battle outside the Star Destroyer Subjugator. Ravager Squadron's job was to attack and disable the Subjugator's Engines with a long range strike. While Onslaught Squadron was tasked to protect it.
The ship's techs had worked 4 extra hours refitting the fighters with simulated weapons and the squads were preparing to launch.
Chief Technician Sifron had 14 years experiance with engineering and as he watched the Fighters launch, he wondered how in the hell they pulled it off. Short on personel and supplies, the Subjugator had stoped at a backwater world to acuire more of both. The people of Iridona IV were culturaly and technologicaly inferior to the Empire in every way, yet 39 people were conscriped into service, eight of which were now asssigned to him. With no technical knowhow what so ever, it was his job to mold them into class 1 techs. Their first job, refitting the fighters. Lets just say, it did not happen so easily.
"your new techs seem to be fitting in well to their new surroundings." commented the Hanger supervisor with a grin.
"Shove it, Jacen." the Chif turned to face him. "They barely know what a toilet is."
"well, the simulation is over in 12 hours. Use this time to show them the bathroom" said Jacen with a laugh
After 4 hours of drills, the newbes were no more ready then a litter of nerfs.
"The ION Engines that our TIE Fighters use, are contolled by these Plasma Distributors. There are three per engine. Before they can be replaced, you turn down the Coaxial Control by 48 points."
Tech Miles raised his hand. "what do we use to turn it down?"
"As i told you before, the........" before he could finish, emergency battle klaxons started pounding away.
"THIS IS NOT A DRILL. RAVAGER AND ONSLAUGHT SQUADRONS ARE UNDER ATTACK BY UNKNOW FORCES. ALL PILOTS TO THE HANGER BAY." came the Flight Officer over the intercom
"ALL HANDS TO BATTLE STATIONS. I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL."

--Zack, i never got a request to transfer from you.. I do not know why the FO approved it. I have an email saying he is not to hear about transfers until ALL superior officers have heard of it. I'll speak with nagel on IRC.

---Final Thoughts---
I, at this time, can not do single player action. My XWA has something wrong with it, and it will not load battles. I intend to correct the problem in a short time. I CAN do MPing, so, I will attempt that in the meanwhile.
