A slow week due to exams and the unavailability of the TC site. If you can fly though: the FCHG race runs the entire month and you get a medal for JUST sending in at least ONE mission! So, get that medal :) !!!

Squadron News:

• Still no contact from Apex Cure and Hunterr! Come on guys, drop me a line!
• Currently we are in second place of the FCHG race. Fly if you can!
• Some of you seem to have problems with the Yahoogroups. Please let me know if you don't receive mails from the Fury_ATF, TC_ATF or SSD_Avenger groups.

Wing News:

• MAJ Ketan-Shej wins the First Lancer of the Avenger: 2nd edition comp. Congratulations Ketan!!

Tie Corps News:

• The Tie Corps site is unavailable at this moment, but is expected to be back online during the weekend. Your profile might not be up-to-date, since the last TC database backup was in January.

• COM's Worst Nightmare: Fury vs. Hunter [Fury and Hunter squadrons] Start date: May, 1st, 2004 End date:   May, 31st, 2004 http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=1472 Fly as many battles and missions from the Mission Compendium as you can. All participants (!) will receive an IS-BR medal, so be sure to participate! The squadron that earns the most FCHG points (e.g. flies the most) will earn the title 'COM's Worst Nightmare: May Edition'. COM Ky Terrak will serve as judge to determine the winner.
• BGCOM's Judgment May Edition [Avenger Task Force] Start date: May, 1st, 2004 End date:   May, 31st, 2004 http://bj.stardestroyer.org http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=2177 The biggest multi-activity competition in the Battlegroup. Each category has an medals for winner and runner-up. Assignments can be found on the message board (see link).
• Avenger Choice Competition 2 [SSD Avenger] Start date: May, 8th, 2004 End date:   May, 31st, 2004 http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=1497 Submit a competition idea to Ky Terrak and the best idea gets a IS-SR.

Activity: Activity was low this week, but this is understandable. For those who haven't done so, please drop me a line via e-mail. Please try to concentrate on things that don't require a lot of database actions, such as fiction, graphics, e-mail, IRC and MB activity. You can fly and try to flood my inbox *hint*.

Some ideas: - Design a new banner for our squadron (we have a new motto & nickname after all). - Submit competition ideas for Avenger Choice Competition 2 (Make sure to CC me). - Submit for ATF Trivia. - Do IWATS. - Play 3D Pong Blowout (see competitions section of this report). - Start some kind of self-created competition for Fury (Heavy rewards!).
