Another week, another WSR - with little change... things have been pretty quiet around the Rel this week. However, with our comp against the Challenge expect activity - i certainly expect it from you!

1. Medal of Communication
The Communications Office is pleased to annouce the new Medals of Communication system. A system has not been in place for a very long time and was last canned because it became unmanageable. This plan should have no such concerns. All necessary information on how this new system operates can be found:

If you aren't aware, the Medals of Communication used to be awarded for posting on the message board. Much like the Legions of Combat, they have different 'levels'. These are:-
- MoC - Bronze Oak Cluster (BoC)
- MoC - Silver Oak Cluster (SoC)
- MoC - Gold Oak Cluster (GoC)
- MoC - Platinum Oak Cluster (PoC)
- MoC - Diamond Oak Cluster (DoC)
2. New Battles and Missions
XWA TC 46 and TIE Free 250 have been released... go fly them!!!

COMPETITIONS
Wing IX Roulette
Rej will pick a random, two digit number. Anyone who flies a mission or battle and gets a score that ends with that number wins a shiney. Confusing certainly, random definitely, easy… yes… more you fly, more chance of that lucky number… IS-BW up for grabs
Rel/Chal Duel to Death... and dishonour
We are currently fighting the Challenge in a mini Ship skirmish! The Missions to fly are:
TIE-FREE #193 and XWA-FREE #115
In addition to this we will be having a run-on on the BGCOM forum. The topic is the Challenge and Relentless are on a seek and destroy mission against a Rebel Task Force. During the first week pilots shall describe various rivalries going on while the two ships are hunting down this task force. Battle against the rebel task force shall not begin until, a week into the competition, a post is given (by VA BubbaX) to indicate that the rebel forces have been found a battle has commenced. The ship that accumulates the most posts in the run-on shall be declared the victor of that division. Each run-on post must have significant substance, and ultimately whether a post counts or not shall be decided by VA BubbaX
The ship that wins at least 2 of the 3 divisions (TIE, XWA, runon) shall be declared the winner. At the same time, a side-comp involving the teams of the ChalFlags, the RelFlags, and the BGCOM and Mell shall compete against each other using the same TIE and XWA missions to have the right to brag against the others all day long and will also be awarded an IS-GW. Each team will fly the TIE and XWA missions, and both scores will be added together to produce a final score. The team with the highest score shall be the victors.
Morale Comp Remix
Send in four pieces of either fiction or graphics, or even rants for Rej's “morale boosting” section of the WWR… IS-SR/IS-BR up for grabs -so spill, speak your mind!
PROMOTIONS/AWARDS
Alas no promotions this week, no awards, no transfers except my own… With the OPS resignation, and the post being left vacant, MWE medals are yet to trickle through, ao keep an eye out for something… eventually.

Im going to keep these brief again-
- I want to hear from you AT LEAST once a fortnight - so far im still a pilot short *cough*rabbit*cough*
- I want you to do ANYTHING - be it fly, MB, IRC - just do it and make sure I know about it!
- Participate in the comps, especially against theChallenge - losing to them would really mean we sucked
- Recruit!!! - It’s a priority as always, worthy of bold text :P
