Issue: 2005-02-25 Hokahee Pilots, Well, first off I have to come up with the discovery of Panther Squadron consisting only of three and a half pilots, while LT Rayn is on leave and Altarion still isn't an official pilot. I really prefer empty FM positions instead of carrying around dead meat. As you should have recognized Freeworlds is a rather dynamic game-platform and I need reliable personnel. If you aren't interested in Freeworlds or similar mods, anymore, you should let me know that. Also it will not consume too much of your precious time to set up an e-mail stating "Kayle, I hate you..." "I hate Panther Squadron" "You are incredible annoying..." "...therefore I have to leave..." or stuff like that. Simply not getting any response is quite painful, after I will never get a reason for inactivity. I'll have to spend the whole day thinking of "...uuh... Hopefully he didn't had an accident..." or "Did I say/act/set up anything wrong?! Am I really such a thorn in the side?". To avoid such worries of mine or at least restrict it down to a determined amount of time and starting next month, four weeks of inactivity and lack of e-mail contact = AWOL without a warning. I know that the majority of you has set up clones, but still you've taken over some responsibility. I put in a few efforts into Freeworlds, the ISD Predator and off course into my Squadron. I once thought I'll stay in Iota Squad my whole life, after I'm an old-fashioned, loyal guy. It was a quite hard decision to take over Command of Panther and - clone or not - I always put in some trust into my pilots, but sometimes I want to get something back. I hope you dig this... Nevertheless it's to say that we should have fun, here. Nobody should feel urged and forced to perform something, he doesn't like, but still being assigned to a Squadron means being part of a team, so act like a reliable team-mate. To get the latest news in between squad-reports, there's a quite good chance to get them in our Headquarter (...and don't forget to hit the refresh button, now and then...). Also you can use it as a portal (Com-Console) to all the other important info... uuhm, like the upcoming TEs on which I'd like to see many Panthers, even if they perform as a troop-transporting pilot in Argosy Squad. After I will not try to gather info who's around during combat, the "Players Online" thingy isn't something you can really rely on and you'll have to send an e-mail to our Commodore to get a LoC, anyway, please cc me in the future.
