At ease gentlemen!
Well, most of you must still be hibernating, since I only received Email and submissions from two of you. Wake up guys; there's an ASF Supremacy Competition going on!!! And let's not forget the three squadron competitions!
I fear we lost our two lieutenants and our major, since I haven't heard from them since I took over command of this squadron. As soon as we find some replacements, they are out! I'm also thinking about 'demoting' our flight leaders to the position of flight member, since they have not been active for quite some time now. As the leader of a flight, you're supposed to be an example to your flight members you know... All right; sometimes you're unable to be active because of circumstances out of your control, but if such a situation lasts for a relatively long time, sometimes it's better to take a step back. And one short Email a week surely isn't too much to ask?
But enough of that; there is still time to be active, and to participate in the ongoing competitions! So board those fighters and show the others the legacy of Python Squadron!

TCC:XvT Open for Apps

The position of Tactical Coordinator for X-wing Vs. TIE Fighter is now open for applications. Requirements are:
-Extensive experience with XvT/BoP mission creation
-Passed both XTM 1 and 2 and TACS Courses
-Must have previously held a TAC position of at least TCS
The position of TCC:XvT is very important, it was filled by me up until I pick a replacement. Applications are to be sent to VA Styles and RA Frodo March.
Skipping Missions

Within the last few months quite a few pilots have been skipping missions when flying battles from our mission compendium. Usually when a pilot submits a battle with a skipped mission his Commander is to get a notice from the database while attempting to submit the pilot file, the database tells the Commander or Flag that the file is corrupted and/or missions have been skipped.
The message looks a little something like this:
"This is not the correct pilot file for this battle. The wrong number of missions has been played. The pilot file is invalid."
Whenever you get that notice when you submit a battle do not check the no high scores box and submit it anyway Doing so will result in having me receive the e-mail notice and eventually removing the battle from the pilot's record.
If it happens once I understand, but if it is repeated frequently by CMDRs and Flags then I will be forced to take disciplinary action.

Note: Have it BSFed by your superiors, the FCHG points will not appear on your record until the end of the competition. TIE and XWA versions to follow soon.

Greetings fleet! It's time once again to announce the recipients of the Commendation of Loyalty for the anniversary of the Emperor's Hammer. I was very proud of submissions for this round of CoLs. Everyone was prompt, even on short notice, and a majority of the subgroups sent in lists. Note that if you were awarded two CoLs from two separate people only one will be awarded.

Duties for these positions include keeping the course site in good working order, making updates as necessary, promotion of your course in the EH, processing graduates and reporting to the Training Officer. If you're interested in applying for one of these positions, write an application to fc@emperorshammer.org with the subject "I can teach!". Flight Members, Flight leaders and members of similar positions in the rest of the EH are encouraged to apply.
Multiplayer Competitions in #ehcoc

In conjuction with the ASF Supremacy Competition, the Combat Operations Office will be hosting several multiplayer competitions in #ehcoc. These competitions will be official events with LoC and DFCs awarded at the end of each nights competition. The first competition will be tomorrow night, featuring XWA Skirmishes. We look forward to a large turn out.
New XWA Battle Released!

The XWA battle for the Casino Imperiale comp has been released! It is designated XWA TC 39! Proceed to fly it if you haven't already and send your pilot files to your superiors to get BSFed.
I'd like to clarify that for these Casino comp battles you won't get your FCHG points or BSF notice until the competition ends, so on February 1st, expect them on your combat records.
