Issue: 2005-03-04 Greetings Squad-Mates, Another week passed by. Another week with a great loss during an engagement of our hated and dishonourable enemy, the New Republic. And meanwhile they are getting really cocky... Not only that there's another contract, chasing the VFSF after our traders, you know what happened to me, yesterday? While I was bringing passengers to the Freedom One, two of those New Rats and one Civilian were stating that this would be their sector and that I've to drop my cargo, as well as I've to pay 2Mio credits to get save conduct! Quite amusing... Gave me some good laughter and fun. Lucky me I managed to perform the second speed docking in my live, that went well. I even shot down one A-Wing. Afterwards I told the patrolling guys about the pearls of water, trickling down the perfectly chilled beer-glass, while sitting in the bar and watching at the two Twi'lek dancers... Now back to business. The two non-flying comps "Mottos and nicks for the Panther!" and "Complete your Pilot Data!" are running only for one more week and 'til now I got not one single submission. Get in gear, guys! The award "Killer Kitty of the Month" goes one more time to LCM Carl Ajaman. Congratz... It is to say that Carl is a quite deadly New Rat-Killer, because of his experience of completing missions, as well. You don't need duels to train aiming, NPCs are fine for that, too. One sad thing to announce: We are one pilot less and Altarion still is not an official squad-member. I hope the two guys who are on leave will not let us down, too. LCM Joey - who had such a good start aboard the Predator - got AWOLed by me. I'm quite patient, but not too patient... Slowly we could start to think about recruiting... Please keep in mind that in Wing XVI I don't only have to report inactivity to the Flaggies and the FO, but Grand Moff Ston recently ran some kind of AWOL check, too. That means you can expect that inactive accounts will get deleted from the server, on a regularly base again, soon. Last but not least on with the good news. I'm very glad to announce, that LCM Pedric Cuf got promoted to Flightleader of Flight 2! Congratz... Well deserved! The two Flightleaders are second in Command. This means a lot more than in the rest of the TIE Corps, after these two can act as a Squadron Commander, anytime I'm not around in Freeworlds, as well as - and even more important - during Territorial Engagements. This is even more important, after I'll have nightshifts at the weekends for the next two months. Also I can announce, the LT Rayn is back from his leave from the front, obviously. He already showed up with an excellent performance during an Imperial training session and shot his Commander and the uber-Vampire into pieces. As ugly the Raptor is, as deadly is it, as well.
