SQUADRON NEWS:

Welcome to the 62nd Cobra Squadron Report. Okay as you all know yes my REPORT is late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I apologize, but I wanted to wait until the last day of ASF: SC VII had come and gone. That and mostly I was busy trying to help the Intrepid out get massive points at least from the effort of what one person can do. And do is what I did, I again flew during the course of ASF: SC ( a month total) over 230+ missions. That is absolutely astonishing for me. That show ya I've been very busy trying to do my part, I wish I had the time to try for some MP, but between flying all those missions, writing 30 trivia questions and processing everyone else's BSFs, I was kept real busy for the entire month of ASF: SC VIII. So I want to say thanks to those of you who helped participate to make this one an enjoyable ASF: SC. We did lots of stuff and came close to taking 2nd place in the wing overall. All we needed was like a couple of hundred points more, which could have been done with everyone pumping out max activity.

I was impressed with the activity level of Cobra, I was a bit surprised that Lonestar stopped short of doing stuff and the fact that me and Plif had over 400+ points, I think once my final tally is done my score will be over 500. But good effort from all of you. We did a good showing and thats all that counts. Overall I have to say Good job to those who contributed to the squadron, outstanding effort, I am sooooo pleased!!!!!!!!!!! Team work baby! there is no "I" in team. Now that ASF: SC is over and we await the results of the final scores we can now concentrate on other things. I will say this, you all deserve a break so if you take a week off I won't be upset just so long as you check in with me this week and let me know your alive.

Since there are no more TCCs in the TAC office now I'm sort of out of a job, which means I get to badger you clowns more and make Cobra more active. With that I will need your help, why? Because we need at least one more person to make Cobra a 6 man team. I think with that and everyone being active we can stomp anyone if given half a chance :) Well that's it for this week.

CMDR's Work: Flew loads of battles and will possibly be taking a break from that bloody comp! Just read what I did down below. I will concentrate on still trying to fly one battle a day, but we'll see how it goes, I really need a break after flying all that I did the past month.

Remember that I will also accept any work for those of you who are doing FW on your spare time. So please don't forget to send me any activity you have for this platform. I will add it to the report and get you any rewards in which you are entitled to. If anyone needs me please use email. This is the fastest way to make contact with me right now, so I have minimum distractions. Thanks.

(SP) FCHG Stuff: CM Mav with 33 is the current leader in February so far doing SP flying and is followed close behind by LC Apophis Kuma with 23 and then COL Plif with 15.

PS: Don't forget my email address is apophis@blacksunalliance.org so be sure to update your address books. Remember you slithering snakes, DO SOME ACTIVITY! nuff said!

That's it for this week, cya next time!

    • Created a new BOP-FREE battle (Called: "Cool Hand" Luke) release date: 2004.07.27

Activity to do: I would like everyone to try and at least do one of the following every week. Fly one FREE mission or battle a week, write a small piece of fiction, make a graphic, add a new reply to the current squadron run-on or something for the squadron message board, create a new FREE mission or new battle for the compendium, last of all I want at the least is a report from you saying I'm alive, well and kicking.

XO Words

No report this week so far :P.

Rewards: As all things come to an end, such as rewards for work accomplished. There were no medals posted this week, with none pending save the MSE ones, which I'm not sure if they were awarded or not, hopefully they will come soon. Just remember I will gladly get you a medal or promotion if you put forth the effort. I promise you I will if its within my power to get you these things. All you need to do is show me that your ready for it. Nuff said.
