A lot of news from Fury this week. We're on a good road and I expect many cool things to come in the near
future. Let's begin this briefing...

First of all, we have a new pilot: LC Thom Zack joins us from the ISD Vanguard. He's a distinguished officer
and former XIX WC. I look forward to serve with you, LC.

Some while ago, I opened the Flight Leader positions for Flight II and III. I have gotten quite a lot of applications
and I expect to fill them with new pilots during the weekend. Exciting :).

The Avenger Task Force is still at war with the SSSD Sovereign!!! If everyone does a bit, we can beat the
Sovereign. Defeat our opponents!!! Look in the competitions section of this report for details on how to help.

Squadron News:

Wing/BG News:

• The Avenger Task Force was challenged by the SSSD Sovereign. Let's defeat them and show that the
  SSD Avenger should be the flagship of the fleet :D. BGCOM TK-2107 urges us do our vary best.

• BGCOM TK-2107 is looking for fiction writers to promote our battlegroup in short stories. Contact him
  at tk2107@tiecorps.org if you're interested. 
  
  
• IW and HCI veteran COL Astix was appointed as the new Trapper Squadron commander. Good luck, sir!
  
  
• ATFBB project nearing completion. Stay tuned.
  
  
• Welcome to SL Stewie, who joins Kraken squadron. Cool call sign!
  
  
• Participate in BGCOM's Judgement (BJ)! XX won last month with a very small headway before XIX.
  Let's kick them this month.
  
  
• COM Ky Terrak started a new competition about his 1-year as COM. Submissions due today!
  

EH/Tie Corps News:

• Former Fleet Commander, GA Ronin, has been promoted to Grand Master in the Dark Brotherhood for all
  his hard work in building the EH.
  
  
• Lucasarts is developing a new game: SW Empire at War.
  
  
• Director of Operations (DO) of the Fringe (SW Galaxies) is open for applications.
  
  
• A demo for SW: Republic Commando has been released (431 MB). You can download it straight from the
  TC server: here.
  
  
• The results from the Science Office competition: Casino Imperiale are in. Praetorian Squadron wins as squadron,
  Wing VIII wins the TCCOM's Escort title as winning wing.
  
• Praetorian Squadron's Commander, LC Abel Malik, has been promoted to Colonel.

  Your BG COM is planning to participate in Starwars Celebration III (www.starwarscelebration.com).
  He might need some good and convincing flyer explaining the TIECorps concept (what people can
  do there, why it is fun, etc.) and the ATF in general (what ships we consist of, about our unity, etc.).
  Create something convincing but also short one as lot of people will be handing out flyers and we
  want new pilots to read ours, right ?
  
  The biggest multi-activity competition in the Battlegroup. Each category has an medals for
  winner and runner-up: TIE & XvT & XWA SP, XvT/XWA/FW MP, Graphics, Fiction, Trivia.

• The Tactical Officer and Communications Officer  each host a number of
  competitions. Refer to the BGCOM's report and mail for details.

• Try to fly a free mission each week. This rarely takes more than half an hour. For example: XvT-F#173.
  
• Participate in competitions. It's fun and gets you promoted quickly.
  
• You have friends that are interested in the Tie Corps? Try to interest them in our squadron.
  I'll reward you with a medal.
