SQUADRON NEWS:

Welcome to the 57th Cobra Squadron Report. Well to start of this report I would like to say there is LIFE IN COBRA AGAIN! The dawning of a new age beckons with life as members of Cobra actually submit work for me to do. I am so glad to see this I couldn't even begin to tell you how I feel. But never the less it looks like things are starting to pick up. I think now with the dead weight gone it's time to do a little recruiting to get back into some form of a competitive nature. But hey with 4 active members I'm not complaining. We got what we got and I'm happy, activity gives me shivers :)

Next we have some activity awards within the ranks of Cobra this week. COL Plif has done a great job of being active this week, however, CM Lonestar take the Pilot of the Week title this time around. He has been constantly busy sending me pilot file after pilot file. COL I really do appreciate the effort. Remember that even the smallest bit of effort can get you something shiny and maybe even a promo one day, except for the COL sorry but your at your max bud :). So if you want it bad enough then only you have the power to control your destiny inside or outside of Cobra.

Okay as far as comps go, all my current comps are over and I will be making some new ones but not until after the ASF SC finishes as we will be quite busy during this period. I'm still working on a ladder comp and still trying to set up a SP flying comp for us as well as a new non-flying comp coming soon as details are not ready yet. I'm just simply glad to see any form of activity coming from within the ranks of Cobra other than my own. Please keep it up lads, good things come to those who are active :)

CMDR's Work: I have been slowly working on my new goal to attain the next FCHG rank of Archon, obviously I'm some missions (battles) away but its getting closer with each passing day as I try to fly atleast 2 battles a day. Well I have managed to get to 1356 and I'm taking my time because of the ASF: SC comp coming soon. But I did wind up flying like4 battles to date including the X-Mas bash comp battle.

Remember that I will also accept any work for those of you who are doing FW on your spare time. So please don't forget to send me any activity you have for this platform. I will add it to the report and get you any rewards in which you are entitled to. If anyone needs me please use email. This is the fastest way to make contact with me right now, so I have minimum distractions. Thanks.

(SP) FCHG Stuff: COL Plif is the current leader in January so far doing SP flying, with a score of 37 points so far and was followed close behind by CM Lonestar with 29 and myself LC Apophis Kuma with 20. However, I'm still 5th on the Ship so I guess it's not all bad :)

PS: Don't forget my email address is apophis@blacksunalliance.org so be sure to update your address books. Remember you slithering snakes, DO SOME ACTIVITY! nuff said!

That's it for this week, cya next time!

PILOTS LOUNGE

POTW: This week it will be CM Lonestar for flying the most and completing 2 IWATS courses! As well as making a new FCHG rank of Cavalier. Great job!

Activity to do: I would like everyone to try and at least do one of the following every week. Fly one FREE mission or battle a week, write a small piece of fiction, make a graphic, add a new reply to the current squadron run-on or something for the squadron message board, create a new FREE mission or new battle for the compendium, last of all I want at the least is a report from you saying I'm alive, well and kicking.

XO Words

MAN!  I cut it close this week I reported in on saturday its a miricle pops didn't do his report yet!  Also I had a wild weekend cause I got 1-2 feet of snow on wednesday and then yesterday some friends came over and their car got stuck so I helped them out...fun,fun,fun.  Anyway away from RL stuff and onto TC, well I havn't flown any this week since I've seen playing lots of galatic battle grounds, good news is I'm on the second to the last campaign so I'm almost done :P.  But this year sometime I WILL fly more promise!  Until next week cya!

 -XO/FL-F3/CM Hunterwolf

Rewards: As all things come to an end, such as rewards for work accomplished. There were no medals posted this week, with none pending save the MSE ones, which I'm not sure if they were awarded or not, hopefully they will come soon. Just remember I will gladly get you a medal or promotion if you put forth the effort. I promise you I will if its within my power to get you these things. All you need to do is show me that your ready for it. Nuff said.

Have a great day!
