| Happy Holidays Everyone! I hope Santa brought you all what you wanted! To Everyone who doesn't celebrate X-MAS, I hope you are enjoying your holiday. It's been a quiet week for activity and understandibly so, since everyone has probably been with their families. As for myself, I've been busy at this past Week Of War for XvT where I had the pleasure of winging some of my fellow pilots from Wing XV and some other well rounded MP pilots. I have a bit of news about Victor Kage but I still have need to get in touch with Zippy Hawk, so let's try to keep our eyes open to get him to contact me. Now on to the report. |

As the flight emerges from hyperspace, the flight's warning lights immediately light up. "Heads up guys, we've entered hot and fast and we got a bunch of blibs on the scope heading 130x200 at 20 kms!" Blastfire radioed over the comm. "I see em" Vallyn replied. "I bet the others would love to see these guys! So how we going to do this Blast?" "Ok, here's how it goes, Vallyn and Glorick, ID that convoy group. Me and Ultima will take care of those escorting A-wings. Break on my mark." Blastfire ordered. After closing to 18 kms..."BREAK!" The 4 T/Ds split up in 2 groups and plowed towards their objectives. 4 A-wings left the convoy on an intercept vector and 2 more stayed behind to guard the 4 freighters. "OK Vallyn and Glorick, speed up and me and Ultima will plow right through and not even look back, we'll be counting on you to make sure no one turns back to catch us. Got it?" Blast asked, almost making sure Vallyn and Glorick could handle teh task at hand. "Go for it, we know what to do! We got 2 missiles ready to fly as soon as we are within range, that'll leave 2 and your 2 Blast. You'll be covered." Glorick reassured. 2.5 KMs out from the A-wings, Glorick and Vallyn got tone and fired, 4 Missiles flew past Ultima and Blastfire and took out the 2 A-wings with ease...unfortunately the 2 remaining A-wings didn't take the bait. They didn't follow Blast and Ultima so that left Vallyn and Glorick in a knife fight. Meanwhile, Ultima's warning light went on... "They're tracking me Blast! Take one out!" Blastfire had already let loose with a volley of missiles and had already taken out 1 of the A-wings. Ultima had traded missile rounds with an A-wing but the A-wing blew up and the T/D only suffered a shield hit. "Don't worry guys! They only have standard missiles! You are safe to take at least 1 direct hit to your shields." Ultima laughed over the com "Cut the Chatter ultima! Scan those freighters!" Blast barked Ultima and Blast cut a parallel path through the freighters and identified that they carried thermal detonators and troups. They must have been part of a new task force designated to take the EH forces in the area. Meanwhile Vallyn and Glorick had taken care of their 2 A-wings with ease. They must have been rookies. "Something isn't right guys...this escort was way too light for 2 troup ships and 2 thermal detonator transports. keep your eyes on your scanners!" Blastfire mentionned Then, almost like clockwork, a rebel interdictor emmerged from hyperspace. It immediately released a full squadron of B-wings. Then a second interdictor emmerged from hyperspace and released a full squadron of A-wings. "I think they want us for interrogation guys! Everyone hit your emergency button. Hopefully the Vanguard will get a hold of it and send in the cavalry" Blast ordered. "Let's hope so, or we'll all look like burnt out toaster ovens!" Glorick replied... |

Well, We finally heard back from Victor Kage! Welcome back! Let's get Zippy Hawk back into our circle as well.
I'm still hopeing to get some fiction to add to the reports from other people. Feel free to add your own touches and stuff guys. I haven't been on IRC as much as I've wanted to be this week. I used all my spare online time to be flying in the XvT WOW. I will be online more though. MAJ Glorick has his XWA battle approved for distribution. Go and fly it guys! We already have one of us who has (Alec Qarni, Sorry it's not processed yet...It'll be done tomorrow!) Let's add this onbe to our squad citations!
