Fleet News:


· Ast has added medals to the Historical Record on the TC database, including the medal recommendation. Now you can decide how impressed to be by someone’s ID line. :P
· TAC is running a "Mission Creation Wars" contest, starting March 1. Sign up befor ethen if you want to participate. Halc and I have signed up as a team, and would welcome either competition or playtesters for our battle :P
· On a related note, if you’re a mission designer, don’t be destroying EH capital ships or having EH vs EH battles.
· OPS has set new guidelines for merit medals. Most notably, merit medals for flying milestones have been discontinued, and earning a BS or SS through flying activity alone is no longer possible. See the latest OPS report for the nitty-gritty, and check the Squadron News for a related development. :P

· GN Indaro Gallia is the new COM of the Colussus, due to VA Absolut Vodka stepping down.
· RA Sarin has been promoted to VA
· COL Pellaeon (Wing II WC) has been promoted to GN
· MAJ Drax Remlinger has been appointed the WC of Wing XV, following COL Tarkin’s stepping down.

· Wing Comps:

· Flight comp vs. Wing VIII. The battle is TIE-DB 11, due the end of February to Wolvie, with a cc to me if you want it on your record :P Let’s keep our great record in Wing comps intact!
· February Wing Ace Comp: TIE-TC 55. Due end of February.
· Wing Archives comp is still running, as well.

News:

· LC Triji Boliv has transferred out of our squadron to be the CMDR of Demon Squadron. So long, and good luck in your new position.
· LCM DarkEagle and LC Philo were awarded Palpatine Crescents for their January activity. Woo!
· Demon Squadron comp results: We flew, they didn’t. Thanks to Foxy, Halc, Boli, and me for flying!
· Yod did very well in the SBOM for January, with DE taking an IS-SW for TIE, and me getting 2 IS-GWs and an IS-BW. Go Yod!
· Inferno Comp: Fly TIE-TC 141 by the end of the month, have a higher average than they do. IS-BW to the top score in each squadron. Losers get their nickname and mottos changed for March.
· One year for me as Yod CMDR! Obviously we’re getting a lower caliber of anarchists in the wing lately :P
· In line with the new OPS regulations, I’ll be unveiling a set of guidelines for what I will take into account when recommending merit medals. Check your email for the details—the points listed are a rough guideline only. As always with medals, there are no guarantees, but Wolvie, Proton, and OPS have all agreed in principle to this system.
