SQUADRON NEWS

• We have two new squadron competitions now that are running until Sunday, June 29.  One is an FCHG Race (basically see who can fly the most) and the other is a fiction writing competition.  Scroll down to the competitions list in this report or check out the Hornet site for details.
  

• We have a new pilot: Sub-Lieutenant Hef!  Everybody make sure to give him a warm welcome if you see him around in the hangar or the Tiger's Den.
  

• Captain Optimus has taken over the office of Hornet Tactical Officer.  This means he will be coordinating with us and assigning us battles to get more citations for the squadron.  How citations work.  Optimus has worked out our first batch of assignments.  There are a lot, so just do what you can.  Basically, if you're going to fly a battle, fly one that's next to your name.  I will be posting the assignments after the list of competitions from now on.
  

• Most of you are pretty good at keeping in contact with me, and that's really great.  Just a reminder though that if you know you're going to be out of contact for a while please let me know and mark it on your profile.

• Congratulatoins to everyone who won awards for their activity in May.

• Applications for Squadron Executive Officer are still being taken, as well as Flight Leader for 3 Flight.
