Greetings Kappa fellows.
The week didn't see much activity... I didn't get any TFRs, and
besides me and Algy, nobody came to the meeting. As I said before,
though, I don't blame you for it... it was christmas, after all, and
if one of you had flown dozens of battles, I would consider that a
typical case of "weird priorities". :P
I hope you all had a nice christmas leave.
Still, a little longer activity section for the next report would be
nice. I expect every Kappan to do his duty in the Wing II comp - we
aren't very far with it yet.


Squadron News

- Not much to tell, as I said above. The Wing II RPG comp and the Sov
Battle of the Month are still on, see orders section.

- As expected, the Kappa meeting didn't take place because of lack of
attendants. But well, with regard to the last time I tried to hold a
meeting, it didn't come as big surprise to me. :)

- LoC system update (SA Astatine)
The database has been updated to correctly reflect the new LoC
system. In addition, the code now also correct calculates the number
of addons you have, as opposed to just listing the highest one and
your total of victories after it. A similar update has been applied
to the display of DFCs too.

- Merry Christmas! (FA Priyum Patel)
From everyone in the Flight Office to all the TIE Corps: Merry
Christmas and may the coming New Year bring you all you hope for and
more!

- Wing Commander Appointment (FA Priyum Patel)
Many congratulations to Lieutenant Colonel PhoenixMan who has been
promoted to the position of Wing XX WC. And my apologies to him for
the delay on this :)

- Site Updates (SA Astatine)
Some updates have been applied to the TIE Corps site.

Competitions listed on the news page are now up to date
The competitions center has been expanded to allow listing of each
type, as well as the top 10 approved competition submitters
Approved competitions are now listed on your profile, if you have
any

- Merry Christmas (RA Kyle Katarn)
I wish all EH Members merry X-Mas! Also please do not forget to look
into this.

- Christmas Competition (RA Kyle Katarn)
After long negotiations, we will have a Christmas Comp taking part
from 24th from 2:00 pm - 26th 2:00 pm on the Zone. The Comp is BSC
Hostes and standard WoW Rules apply. We will fly against the TRA, a
Club which is very MP active. So climb in your cockpits and fly.
LoC's and DFC is awarded on 27th. If you got any questions mail me
here. Also click review the XWA War and the XvT War of the Comp. The
Comp Calendar has been updated too!

- ISD Relentless COM Resigns (FA Priyum Patel)
The Commodore of the ISD Relentless, Rear Admiral Theodore, has
tendered his resignation. For the time being, applications for a
replacement COM are NOT being accepted.

Many thanks for Theo for all the dedication and hard work he put
into the Rel, he'll be sorely missed.

- Competition systems screwup (SA Astatine)
Just recently, I found out that an error in the competitions system
resulted in competitions being submitted, but these submissions not
appearing in the admin or competition center sections of the site.
This error has been fixed and as of this posting, all competitions
have been processed.
