SONG OF THE WEEK: Babylon, by David Gray - This is an older David Gray tune.. very good! He has a new CD out, which is full of great songs.. I reccomend it :)
SHOW OF THE WEEK: Bob Marley - 09/23/80 This was Bob's very last show ever.. from Pittsburgh, PA. It's a very nice recording, and has a good setlist, featuring Redemption Song, Zimbabwe and No Woman, No Cry.

SQUADRON NEWS:

1) Lamed Squadron has a brand-new member!!!! It's true, in just about a year since I took over CMDR, we have never had a new Sub-Lieutenant. But today, we welcome SL Halk Knight to our lovely squadron :) It'll be nice to have a new face, and someone to be active :)
2) Let's see.. we have a few competitions assigned.. if you're able, I encourage you to fly a bit. TC-TIE 200 is for the Wing IV Ace Competition and TC-TIE 194 for the Sov Battle of the Month. Please guys.. try to fly a little!!! MAJ David has submitted for the XWA part of the Ace Comp.
And if you want to fly something in addition to/instead of TIE.. TC XvT#37 and DB XWA#1 for Wing IV Ace Comp.. and TC-XvT 30 and TC-XWA 32 for Sov Comp. Lots of choices!
3) There's another competition.. fiction.. write a story about a Wing IV combat mission.. include the whole wing.. e-mail to WC Mayk.
4) I have assigned FREE-TIE 199 for you guys to fly in the next week or two or eight.. It's an easy mission :) Send 'er in when it's completed.. try to do so before.. Valentine's Day? :p C'mon, you can do it. Once you guys have submitted, I'd like to assign another free mission, in this same, casual fashion.
