Squadron News: First of all, Teth has a new CMDR, me! I have been appointed as CMDR of Teth Squadron, to replace CM Matt Patrick, who had to step down due to real life constraints. With it, I am also promoted to the rank of CM, and plan to launch myself into my duties.
The other main piece of news is that Teth Squadron has a new pilot, Sub-Lieutenant Dudesrule. I am sure that you will all make him feel welcome, and that he we be a vital addition to the squadron.
Now there are only 2 days left to get you Squadron League submissions to COL Ricardo, and as far as I am aware, none of you have submitted! I can only speak for myself, but I am now on Mission 5, so I will be finishing it soon. If you find tht the battle is hard, then drop down a difficulty level, it doesn't matter that you would lose points, having some is better than having none. Also if your stuck on a particular mission, (Mission 4 is a real toughie) let me know, and I'll try and give some advice. So come on and get flying! despite the low number of submissions we can put in, we're still holding our own, and I'm sure when the CR3 results are announced we'll have moved up, after a very good performance, taking the top 3 positions in the Wing is something we should all be proud of, and well done to CM Matt Patrick for taking the Top Gun for the round, if we can keep on this good performance, we could have a real chance of getting into the Playoffs.
A Final thing, I may require you to be very active over the next few weeks! as well as the Squadron League rounds, I'm also lining a few squadron competitions as well. One of them will carry on the idea thought up by CM Matt Patrick, which is that of Teth Squadron vs Kaph Squadron (another Wing IV squadron Dudesrule) and I'm also investigating the possibilty of Teth vs Cyclone, who are currently 3rd in Squadron League. There is a Wing IV meeting tonight, on IRC (www.mirc.com) on the channel #wing_iv, at 7:30PM EST, I won't be able to attend, as that is 12:30AM GMT for me, but I would like someone from Teth to be there, so if you can attend.
