Be ready...as the Kappa's Holiday Season Mega-Comp aproaches...HO HO HO!!
Squadron News
-----------------------
-As you already know, Kappa is at 50% again!!! Welcome SL Tempest to the squadron!! You know, for every time I've written that sentence, in intra squad mails, message boards, and now here, I should get a free beer from you. It's an ancient tradition. I just came up with it :p
A special thanks to CPT Deacan, who from retirement, brought Tempet in his shuttle and introduced him to me. Thanks, old man :)
-SL Tempest has already figured out the way we all are most of the time (no, not drunk...active as hell! Umm...well, drunk too :p) A day after he joined he has made an amazing pic for Kappa.Yay!! He said he wanted to do a big picture in the future. As I already submitted LC Badlands's banner, we will have that one for a couple of months. But after that, we'll use one that Tempest makes! Check out Tempest's graphic. (attached)
-The Kappa meeting has passed, and I missed it. Anyway, it seems that it really never happened, as it was a coincidence that Jan, Algaron, and Hawk bumped into each other on mIRC. For next week, we shall make this meeting!!!
-Tempest promotion to LT shall be underway, (as soon as I can BSF :p)
-Kappa's Recruitment Coordinator, LCM Jan Wemmel has suggested a comp with some cadets, in the way of one-on-ones or normal flying comp. As soon as I speak to Inkwolf and get approval, we shall engage in this.
-As you saw above, a huge comp involving several different fields of competition will begin before the holidays. Stay tuned for more!!
-The Kappa Hatch MB has reached over 100 posts!! Yay!!
-CM Algaron Xerves has suggested making a new part of the website with a Kappan first-steps guide for cadets, so a link is added to it in recruiting activities, message boards, etc. We all must contribute to it, so mail things you think the guide may need to him. I will submit some, which reminds him of Algaron's other run-on project, the Ships Encyclopaedia. The cap ships will be sent to you Alg! ;) And the rest of you...SUBMIT!!
-No news on the Sov League quarter finals. We made a 4/5 participation. When I get something of this, you'll know.
-Operation 'Release the Ties' it's on the climatic ending!!! Blue has cornered Red on Aurora, Setii and Phare. Victory is close!!! Go Blue!!

Newsletter #69
Sector Admiral Compton has released Newsletter #69 to the fleet. This issue has been named the special edition "EH Primer." While there are no reports or submissions from members, it does contain a digested version of the Emperor's Hammer Training Manual with some added commentary from the Executive Officer on each command-level position and subgroup.
